The light, space, facilities and atmosphere in the apartment, the central location. It’s spotless clean. In a nice old building with elevator. Beautiful shutters. Well equipped kitchen. Two dining areas! New towels. What’s not to love!

The beds in the ‘kids bedroom’ were less comfortable. If you are a light sleeper and like to sleep with the windows open: choose another place because there is quite a bit of street noise.

If I have to point out one thing it is the noise from the street at nights.

Great host, was really friendly and helpful. Communication was quick and easy. Location was perfect, close to the old town and only a 5-10 minute walk to the bus station where the airport bus drops you off. Apartment was lovely, felt very safe and quiet around.

Very clean and central location.

The noise overnight from trucks and late night revellers did disturb our sleep.

The apartment was great. Wonderful layout, thoughtfully appointed and worked great for our family of four. Comfy beds! Lots of room. Only time during two weeks in Spain that we were all able to actually unpack our clothes! Nice kitchen set up - great for a family with food allergies that had to cook several meals. The owner was great. It was so fantastic to deal with a real person. Her responses were quick and she was so thoughtful about advice in the city!!

The only downside is the noisy street. If you are used to a loud city all night, you will be fine. But if you’re sensitive to sound this could be tough. We were there during a very hot week and needed to keep the doors open all night which meant it was noisy. If you can close the doors, the noise is not too bad. Also note, if you are in San Sebastián during a festival this street could be very festive all night.

Close to the beaches, old town and right in the shopping area. Lovely bright apartment, well appointed. Main bedroom is very spacious, second bedroom is suitable for kids. As mentioned by others, it is a lively street and there is a good deal of noise during the night from rubbish/recycling lorries.

Possibly a rare occurrence, but the owner didn't show up when we arrived, nor respond to calls/messages. Very stressful. Booking.com's Support team were excellent and were arranging alternative accommodation when the owner eventually turned up. Not the best start to our holiday. The owner compensated us with free aquarium tickets.

The owner is just lovely and super helpful. The place is super well located (beach/old town just a pleasant 5 to 10 min walk away). The apartment is bright and spacious. We just felt super comfortable from the moment we arrived. Nice bathroom and good kitchen that has everything you need. Washing machine was a plus for us given we had our little 4 year old with us.

It can get a little noisy (traffic) especially when they pick up the garbage during the night. Need to budget a little extra for parking a car.

Everything was wonderful, especially the location and the host were great.

The 2am garbage trucks were a mixed blessing. It's great that they empty the dumpsters every day. So clean everywhere! But also they can be really loud in the middle of the night, every night.
