Quiet location safe building. Stylish apartment

Arrived to find nice apartment but uncared for and unclean . Badly stained sofa with a cigarette & wet sock down side cushion. Sofa wet smelt of smoking inside. No spare linen . I.e towels sheets. Dirty stained bed mattress with NO hygienic mattress covers as all other rentals have. Place had obviously had a quick clean through before our arrival . Obviously used for quick monetary turnover with little thought of clients hygiene . Keys collect from a rental agency who were very good & punctual to collect keys. Unsure if they responsible for cleanliness but reported problems to them . Mezzanine bedroom steep stairs low roof on entry .

The apartment is really nice. Definitely suitable for a solo traveller or a couple. It has very good facilities and it very cleaned and spacious. The location is amazing.

Location, facilities, secure and spacious

Glass handrail to mezzanine bedroom, very low ceiling (iron beams !), no light switch downstairs to the bedroom, AC too complex no instructions on use. Bed settee damaged, no tea towels, hairdryer in bathroom damaged and dangerous. Asked agent for tea towels and clean towels which took three days to arrive ! Post code for location takes you to the entrance for residents in the building and we were told in no uncertain terms to use the entrance on the other side of the building, this needs to be amended

The apartment has great space and facilities in kitchen , Streaming TV , bathroom shower warm and powerful. Washing machine available but i did not need to use. Perfect location close to the magical old part of Girona . Thoroughly enjoyed the break but the actual bed&sofa only issue .

The BED in messanine is an uncomfortable futon with mattress topper!! And sofa ( which failed to pull out for use when we tried to sleep there rather than the bed !! Sofa also has a broken right side and is generally dirty/stained . It's a pity that the ONLY flaws in this accommodation are the bed & sofa bed !!! Would be a 10 if these issues were addressed . The messanie has low roof which leaves fewer options but there has to be a more comfortable alternative? Also , roof velux blinds do not close fully ( I think there was a remote control but ??)

Excellent location. Nice interior.

1) staff had agreed to bring key to apartment. 20 minutes before arrival this changed to us having to go to their office which was 3k away. We were told it was just a short walk but finally had to get another taxi to take us there and back. Representative advised she would call a friend for a discounted or free Girona tour. This did not occur. Renters at same apartment complex advised us that they had been met by representative at apartment and given a walk through. 2) After 8 days of hiking lodge to lodge in Pyrenees we were excited to be able to walk clothes. Apartment had a washer/dryer. We got an error code on the machine and it wouldn’t drain water. Soaked all of the towels in the apartment wringing out wet clothes. Advised staff. They would call a technician. No support for more towels or sympathy for our situation. Luckily, we hadn’t put all of our clothes in washer! 3) Coffee maker with no coffee. 4) Daikin mini split controller uncharged, couldn’t find charger. You really need this to work in this apartment!

Location was fantastic. The flat is cleverly designed and we liked the nice big downstairs bathroom. Also well organised and well-equipped - it was easy to find things.

The check-in was a real pain. The agency was difficult to access - restricted hours and at their building their office was not clearly signposted - and it was far from the flat. The contract was absurdly long and complex for a short-term let - it seemed like the agency was not really used to short-term lets. There were so many penalties and punishments listed. The contract also says 'I accept the state of the flat' but we hadn't seen the flat at that point. Also, although we had checked in online, they still made us fill in a paper form for the police - nobody else has required this. The bed was a bit narrow for two. Maybe provide some washing up liquid - everything else was nicely done.

Brilliant location and the apartment itself has everything we needed. We stayed in July and it was great that there was air conditioning downstairs to cool us down in 35 degree heat.

Didn't appreciate having to pay extra to check in a bit later. The bed was not super comfortable, but this could be a personal preference.

The location was fabulous and the apartment was very spacious. Huge kitchen if you wanted to cook but there were tons of restaurants right there. Really appreciated that the apartment was stocked with first aid kit, washing liquid etc.

Key pick up at a different location was tedious. A/C in the unit did not seem to work although not a problem as weather was not really hot. The bedroom is in a loft and not great for tall people - low sloped ceiling with a low metal beam.
