Ajuy Paradise

A great appt in a fantastic location. The apartament is clean, well equipped and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly Owner. A fantastic view from the tarrace on the roof. The location is busy during the day - tourists come for the caves. In the evenings gets empty and quiet. It is perfect for peace lovers-:)

Very spacious rooms, beautiful view to the ocean from the windows and from the roof-terrace. Perfectly equipped kitchen and comfortable bed and pillows.

In the bedroom the plaster is coming off from the ceiling and falls on the bed, this should be fixed.

Ajuy is a really quite town which see's tour buses pull up busily from around 11am onwards which visit the nearby caves. If you are looking for a quiet escape this would be a great spot. The solarium is big and spacious and would be shared with the second apartment. Your own transport will be required and The locals are incredibly friendly, and extremely helpful. The nearby restaurants do close early enough, however the food is quiet amazing! You will definitely need to fill your fridge for evenings and mornings. The nearby caves are pretty nice to visit and sunsets on the cliff walk to the caves and from this property could be pretty epic. All in all I would say there is at least 3 days worth of things to do in walking distance, which is why a car is required.

There is a lack of grocery shops in the town. There is 1 bus a day at 6:15am - do drive! It will be difficult getting Airport transport as it is quite a distance for drivers and probably not worth their time. I tried to arrange a an E-Bike delivery but as it was off season it was not worth their effort either. Light pollution is really bad in this small town and it could be a pretty amazing night sky, depending on the weather. If the nearby floodlights would be switched off at night the view from the solarium would be better. As would the view from the cliffs.

Perfect spot for calm holidays at fuerteventura, I guess it would be hard to find a better one, especially if you don’t like resorts and annoying tourists. Plus, there is splendid playa solapa within a short car ride, for those who’ll get bored with the local beach.
