El Medano Sunrises LOS MARTINES apartament

The location and the entire area around those buildings is amazing. It’s literally just a few meters from the beach, has a great terrace, a wonderful ocean view, and you're also only about 10 minutes away from the center of El Médano. Great pool too.

The bed is just too small for two people. The kitchen could be better equipped—we asked for two wine glasses but never received them. Would be nice to have a dishwasher. Also, the terrace furniture (like the chair and table) is all rusty, probably because of the rain.

Great apartment with good outside space. Well designed and well maintained.

Kept waiting on arrival for the host to arrive with the key despite following instructions to call when leaving the airport. The walk into town was a little longer than I expected (10 to 15 mins), but it is a pleasant walk.

Location is great, apartment is spacious and clean with large terrace and beautiful pool and sea view.

The bed in the bedroom creaks terribly. Also one of us was sleeping on the couch in the living room and the refrigerator was very loud and woke her up every night.

The accommodation was very clean and compact. It was equipped with everything we needed for our 1 weeks stay. The accommodation was on the top floor which suited us because we had a terrace on the roof plus a balcony. There is a lift and the stairwell has lights. The complex is quiet and suited to all age groups. It is right across the road from a lovely beach, but it also has a small swimming pool. The views are great and I loved listening to the ocean swell at night. You get a glimpse of the volcano behind the apartment and there is a small mountain/ headland to the south. It has been mentioned that El Medano is windy and it was breezy on occasions during our stay, but coming from the NE coast of Ireland nothing out of the ordinary. You have a short, very nice walk into El Medano along the coast. The footpath is wide to accommodate all the walkers, runners and occasional bikes. There is an abundance of places to eat all reasonably priced. El Medano itself is a very chilled, pretty place to stay and really does cater for all. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or just like easy strolls. This was my first visit to Tenerife and I knew I didn’t want to stay in a very busy tourist destination, so El Medano was the perfect choice and I would recommend without hesitation

The apartment itself is basic and that’s fine for a week or 2. The bed could have been sturdier although the mattress itself was ok. And the stairs up/down from the terrace are a bit dangerous ( in my opinion). You need to be cautious when using.
