The apartment is perfectly located just south of the old city. It is mere steps from the nearest Metro and an easy walk to the train station and Xàtiva Metro which links directly to airport. The property is clean, spacious and well equipped. A few condiments and water would have been a welcome addition. It terms of all the above I would highly recommend this property..

Unfortunately €150 was taken from my ruck sack by someone who had access to the property when unoccupied. On my return home I contacted the host, expressing my disappointment and stressing that I was not looking for the money back but flagging up and suggesting a keypad safe be installed. My message was ignored. I held off posting this review as I wanted to give the host the opportunity to address the issue, perhaps just be responding to my message. After 24 hours and having received no reply, my only option was to flag the issue via review. I am the 4th person to have had money taken (Booking.con/air bnb reviews). I draw my own conclusions as to the lack of a safe or response from host and invite you to do the same.

Nothing, I was robbed.

Caution!!! My money vanished from this apartment! I kept 200 Euro in my wallet on the bedside table. All my money was lost. The same situation was reported in the comments from July 2022 on AIRBNB. and July 2023 on booking.com All what I got from the MD RENTALS representative was disregarded when I reported this situation. It is unbelievable that a thief has a key and the "host" Silvia doesn't care that someone stealing money of her guests from time to time. It is more curious that the code that is indispensable for making a copy of that key hangs on the wall of the corridor. Other, less important disadvantages you can find there are: -old and dewastated furniture. -one shower for the flat. -some facilities didn't work like electric kettle, TV remote. Despite of the fact that the apartment equipments are old and often in bad condition, you need to pay 300 euro deposit and sign an agreement in Spanish.

The location.

Two of the 5 bedrooms did not have air con and were unbearably hot. We were a group of 8 people there was just the one shower room with a toilet and one separate toilet with a sink. No other shower or bath. This is advertised as two bathrooms and it is not. But by far the worst thing ...on the last morning of our stay as we were due to leave we discovered that all our money had been taken. Nothing else taken, just cash. The owner offered no assistance and asked no questions when we reported this to them.

Lots of space and bedrooms. The washer worked well and there are balconies to hang clothes to dry. the kitchen was big and well appointed. One and half baths was nice to have. The living area and the whole place is good sized and the A/C worked well once we got the batteries changed. The hosts were responsive to our questions and issues. It is a short walk (5 min.) to the train stations (no cab needed) and a medium walk to the city center (10 to 15 min), so very well located. The neighborhood has a nice coffee shop and bakery right there.

The building is pretty charmless but very functional.
