Casanaga

Dear fellow travellers, the Casanaga hostel is for shure THE most Beautiful and welcoming hostel I have ever been too. Also compared to other hostels I have been on Tenerife. Ollie, who created and manages the hostel, and the volunteers are super engaged and friendy. The service is super good. Ther ewpuld be always someone available for questions and I really felt treted like an individual guest there. The breakfast (free) and dinner (self cooked, super yummy) are happening on the rooftop terrace with stunning view an the ocean and the surrounding mountains. Form my dorm bed I could look directly at the sea and I always slept with an open window to hear the sounds of the waves. They provide yoga mats and tee, so I often had a quiet morning yoga session for my self in the morning before breakfast. There are free books and numerous of instruments taht are frequently used for jam sessions. Casnaga has several nice hang out spaces that are designed very personal and cozy. Apart from that, the surrounding coast is very stunning. And though it is a very quiet village (what I personally enjoy very much), there is always ennough to do as you can go hiking in the national park, surfing on the beaches nearby, checking out the cute town Taganana nearby or hanging out with guest and volunteers and having a nice time. Furthermore there is a co-working space with high spped internet. So working remotly is very comfortable there. I stayed here the second time and will for shure come back. I would recommend you to come too and don't stay too short - or you might regret it 😉💛☀️

Casanaga is a truly special place. Located on the cliffs in the north of Tenerife, with beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets, it is perfect for rest and reconnection. The care, love, and attention given to guests are exceptional, and the people you meet there quickly feel like family.

Location, big size bed.

A bit pricey for what it is. The staff hosted a dinner in a sleeping room which was odd, no chance to take a nap. Sand on my bed upon arrival, however this might be some other guests fault. At the end not many other options in that area.
