Beachside Luxury Apartment in Puerto Banus - Club Playas del Duque

We booked the apartment on January 4th based on the information published by the lessor on Booking.com. On January 8th, the day before moving in, he sent me an email about the “emergency” construction work at the house. An “emergency” presupposes that something breaks out suddenly and unexpectedly. The pictures below show the state of “emergency”. According to property manager of the club the “emergency” arose years ago and only the current construction phase has lasted since November 2023. No end was there in sight. In the first hour after our (quite late) check-in, the laminate floor in the kitchen erupted suddenly with the crash of breaking ice in the middle in the length of the entire kitchen. What a lovely welcome! My communication with the landlord can be seen in the screenshots attached. Shortly before midnight we went to sleep and discovered what the landlord later described as “allergy-friendly bedding.” The ad on Booking.com included bedclothes, which for me also presume adequate duvets given the current winter weather. There were only polyester blankets placed on sheets of the same quality. On the bedsheets there were hairs and dirt. This discovery was just icing on the cake. So, at that moment I wrote the stay off as a flop. The jackhammer every morning did the rest. On the first morning at ca. 7:30 a.m. the internet has been interrupted, which I reported to the lessor. It was back at about 13:00. The lessor reported back at 17:40 and explained to me, that I should have reported the issue properly. Personally, I was bothered by instructions at every step combined with threats to debit my deposit. The most ridiculous thing was the first aid kit. No one needs it, but it's here to complete the overall picture.

Very clean and comfortable with all amenities available. More than happy to stay there again.

Great location, could walk everywhere. Very clean and quiet. Had all the amenities in the apartment. Hosts responded very quickly to emails.

The view is just ok, could see the pool from the patio.

The apartment was beautifully presented - everything you could need. We were provided with excellent quality towels for the bathrooms and the pools. We had a wonderful balcony and the gardens were spectacular.

Brilliant location, just out of the hustle and bustle so felt safe and was quiet at evenings. Very easy to navigate and perfect facilities with bars and pools and a lovely garden area perfect for kids to run around!

There are some building works going on currently which were noisy in the mornings on weekdays.

Lovely, spacious apartment in a great location and three great pools. Grounds were really nice and very close to beach and port. Highly recommended and great hosts.

Really spacious apartment, immaculately clean and well kitted out. Basic essentials provided (washing up liquid, toilet roll, swim towels etc). Grounds well maintained with direct access on to the beachfront and a short stroll to all the restaurants, bars, shops and marina.

The hosts replied to any queries straight away, the location was perfect and the apartment was a fantastic size and very clean...loved the master bedroom and bathroom.
