Casa Kava in a Superior ApartHotel Resort Near Cabopino NO CAR NEEDED

The location is an apartement with two floors (two bedrooms with two bathrooms, and one living room, plus three teraces) in a complex of apartments, most of which belong to a hotel. The hotel offers all you can eat breakfast for 15 euros per adult and 7.5 euro per child, and two swimming pools opened from 10 am to 8 pm, plus a restaurant open during the day near the pool. Pool offers beds and showers. Also a gym is present and free to use. All these ammenities from the hotel are free to use by the users of a flat, cards are provided and you can get more from the hotel reception. The big room in the flat has a large bed plus a small foldable bed where one small child can sleep comfortably. The room downstairs has one bed where a couple can sleep comfortably. One can arrive also with a bus, that stops 5 minutes away from the flat, but it is recommended to rent a car from the airport, to also use to travel to beaches nearby. Elviria is 5 minutes away by car and very friendly for children. Marbella is 15 minutes away by car. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk from the apartement, open from 8 am to 2 am, that has all the food you need extra, including delicicious vegetables and fruits thar are very well ripe in Spain. The host was very friendly, giving us via Whatsapp all the informations needed on how to arrive, what activities to do, etc. There was a deposit paid that was returned one hour later after we left, as soon as the cleaning persons confirmed the flat is in good order. The terraces before and behind the apartement have a sofa and a large table, very conveninent for evenings to stay outside for a drink. On the other side, with a lot of sun, the bathing cloths and towels can be left drying. And the terrace at the roof top is very good to let cloths to dry. the flat has microwave, coffee machine, wasching machine for disches, for cloths, a TV, air conditioning. The latter is key during the hot summer weather.

Some of the equipment/installation in the house needs some refreshing or replacement but overall everything was very good!

upon entering the apartment, you are greeted by a very pungent smell of mold, which has not dissipated in a whole week. The rooms are dirty. it's good that the bed linen was clean. on the second floor, the sockets and lighting in the bedroom do not work.

The attention of the owner through the reservation and check-in process and he location.

1) Despite the area being an "urbanizacion" is is quite noisy early morning, from 7:30 onward, due to people working and maintaining road and gardens. 2) practically impossible to park at the house, closest parking lots are at least 300m away. 3) air conditioning system operation is little tricky and non sense in my opinion, being able to cool the place for a maximum of 2 hours,thus causing a very sweaty wake up on the morning

The complex was well equipped with both indoor and outdoor pool, supermarket around the corner and the beach a walk away.

The floors of the apartment could have been cleaner.

The apartment was very comfortable, and the three sun terraces were all excellent. Parking at the site is pretty good, with it usually being possible to park moreorless straight outside the property. The beds are comfortable, with a nice big shower upstairs in the larger bathroom. It is also a nice location, set behind the large communal swimming pool and restaurant - these were included in the cost of the stay, although we didn't use them. The WiFi signal was very strong and very fast. There is an excellent Supercor Exprés supermarket close by.

The largest outdoor sun terrace hadn't been swept properly beforehand, so it was very dusty. This was not a huge problem, but little touches like that do make a stay. Similarly, someone had made an attempt to make the outdoor areas look nice and appealing, but the mood lighting didn't work, and it all seemed just a little bit unloved, and could have been improved very easily. The downstairs shower door didn't open or close properly, so I had to use the upstairs one even though I do have some mobility issues. A guest with greater mobility issues may struggle to use the marble stairs, so again, it's the little final touches to the apartment that could be improved.
