Los Patios de la Caleta

We have traveled A LOT, in the hundreds of hotels and rooms, so my recommendations don't come lightly. Easily in the top 5 places we've been hosted at. The owners were helpful and accesible via WhatsApp. The apartment is a reformed street-level basement, tastefully decorated, equipped with everything you'll need, and placed in a gorgeous Andalusian patio just near the beach. It also was pristine-clean and the bed was unusually comfortable. One of those you struggle to wake up! 10/10 place, no-brainer.

If I had to say something bad, it's the parking. The apartment doesn't have one, and the area is resident-only. There is a public parking 2 minutes away, but it's not exactly cheap, 18€/day, (there's one slightly cheaper a bit further away), so add that up to your budget if you come by car. Still worth the price tho.

Very clean apartment, well equipped, easy walk to old town and gardens are nearby. Hosts are very helpful, providing good pointers to interesting locations.

A lovely personal welcome to a quiet, spacious, well appointed studio in a perfect central location. Jose, the landlord made himself contactable by WhatsApp and helped us with a couple of questions. We very much enjoyed our stay in Cadiz at los Patios de La Caleta and would rebook if we returned.

The tiny shower stall was a bit of a challenge but this would not stop us from returning for another visit.

Comfortable, well equipped, quiet and value for money. Very near to a beautiful beach, supermarkets, parks, nice walks, close to the La Vina restaurants and bars. Easy walk to the cathedral The Mercado and shopping streets.

The location was great. our hosts were super accommodating, thoughtful, helpful and kind. The apartment was new and nicely furnished.

We loved staying here! Super clean, modern apartment (Pepe and Ursula have great taste!) in an awesome location. A short block away from the Parador (great bar and great place to watch the sunset!) and the Caleta beach. A few blocks from the university, a 1 minute walk to a breakfast place at the tennis club (recommended by Pepe!). Also, very easy to walk downtown. Very comfortable bed, all the extra touches (even a sewing kit), including a bottle of wine on our arrival. Check in was super easy. Pepe had arranged for a parking space in the building, and he met us outside and walked us down to the parking garage. He provided a receipt for the parking that same day. He also gave us tons of recommendations for restaurants and other sights to see, in Cadiz and San Lucar. I wish we had had time to do everything. It was a wonderful stay, in large part thanks to Pepe and Ursula. They are really wonderful hosts. We highly recommend.
