Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem alten Mehrfamilienhaus in einer ruhigen, angenehmen Wohngegend. Es gibt die Metro in die Stadt in der Nähe, es ist nahe zum Strand und es gibt viele Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten. Wenn man nicht in der Innenstadt übernachten möchte und trotzdem alles gut erreichen will, ist es perfekt.

Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin war etwas eigenartig. Man sollte bei der Ankunft 50€ Kaution in einem Briefkasten hinterlegen. Und man musste im Haus sehr leise sein, um die alten Mieter nicht zu stören. Das Haus und die Einrichtung ist alt, was aber auch sehr interessant ist. So richtig Gemütlichkeit wollte aber nicht aufkommen.

I've been using BOOKING for over 15 years and have always had great experiences. This time, however, the accommodation was terrible. BOOKING was quick to resolve the issue and provide a refund, but the stay itself deserves a -10 rating. It was the worst travel experience I've ever had.

Upon arrival at 7pm on November 29th, the host insisted on an immediate EUR50 cash deposit, claiming we had agreed to this beforehand. However, there was no mention of a cash-only security deposit anywhere in the booking details or confirmation. This demand was only communicated after the booking was confirmed via WhatsApp. (I've since noticed other guests have reported similar experiences.) To avoid further conflict, we offered to pay the deposit by credit card, but the host refused. As a result of this unexpected and unjustified demand, feeling pressured and totally uncomfortable we were forced to leave the property prematurely. Before leaving, to protect myself, I recorded a video of the property to document its condition. Despite this, the host later accused us of damaging a curtain, which is completely nuts. Due to this unpleasant experience, I strongly advise against staying at this property.

Well equipped, spacious. There was a pack of information about nearby restaurants and things to do. The owner WhatsApp us with pages of information.

The parking was difficult for a larger car. The linen and towels smelled, and the towels were thin and not very luxurious. We didn't understand the importance of the metro against parking in the town, and whilst the owner urged us to get a metro card, we had a car, so we drove into Bilbao. The shower was difficult to use and leaked.
