Casa con Palmera - Port

We were in October 2022. The location is good, close to the beach, there are shops nearby, there is a market nearby. The apartments are very clean, tastefully furnished, the owner himself is an artist. We contacted Monica, a very nice and sweet girl, she always helped. Many thanks to her for everything. I would recommend these apartments to everyone. You will not regret.

Host Monika was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The check-in and checkout process was quick. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The sea is 5 min away.

You can hear noise coming from the street. Nothing too critical unless you are a very light sleeper.

The property location was excellent, the home was VERY clean, it was very easy to use the bus system getting downtown, the beach is a short walk away, it’s good value for the area and Monika is lovely!

It was great for my husband and I, it would also be great for a family but if you want complete privacy (two completely private bedrooms) it might not be the best for that.

Regretfully I feel I need to write this long review. This property should not be on the booking.com website, it’s not up to the correct standards. The entrance door is on the street, the first bed is very close to the entrance door. Entrance door blinds do not fit the windows, there is at least 2” of window each side of the blinds where the light gets in. Curtains are cheap and unlined. They have used 1 pair of curtains for two windows. To get to the bathroom and kitchen you must go through the second room which has a bed at one end, wardrobes for both rooms at the opposite end and one curtain on the window. This room is extremely dark.To get to this room you must go through two swing doors from the main bedroom ( bed beside entrance door) the doors are too short for the opening so there is no privacy. This room is quoted as a second bedroom but is really a long hallway there are four doors in this room. The doors are too short for the door opening, they do not go to the full height. There is no privacy in in any of the so called bedrooms. it would not be suitable for two couples. The terrace is not a terrace its a tiny space which houses the aircon unit, tiny table and storage unit, feels more like a sauna. You can hardly see about 2m of sky.

Nicely equipped apartment, clean, you can see that the owners take care of it. We also got tips for trips around the area and for traveling by local public transport.

The terrace is very small, only suitable for drying laundry
