Emplacement en plein cœur de la vieille ville, à proximité des lieux à voir et des commerces. La plage se situe à quelques pas.

The location is great, easy to get to get to shops/restaurants and about 10 mins away from the beach, that's probably the best thing about it. And Altea itself is a beautiful place, if a bit crowded.

There's various things to complain about, in short: - the bedrooms are just under street level, and not very well ventilated so it feels rather humid - since the bedrooms face the street, it's actually quite loud even if people are just walking down the road. Often they're also talking loudly as they walk down the road, of course. - the general level of cleanliness could be better, the bedsheets especially seemed like they were bought about 10 years ago and used often. - strangely, the bathroom window opens onto the hallway of the building next door rather than the outside. Not exactly an issue, but the neighbours were smoking so the bathroom ended up smelling like cigarettes. - the terrace in the pictures is actually accessible only via a different entrance - so you have to exit the property and go through the next door down and up 4 flights of stairs to get to it, through doors that don't open or close very well. So it's a nice idea, but we only went up there once as it's a real pain to get to and it's shared with people from the other building.
