YourHouse Es Niu, apartment in Puerto de Sóller

Great views, close to all the town's restaurants etc and good for when we wanted to eat in with a well appointed kitchen.

The property is in a fantastic location, has great facilities and was really bright, we loved being staying there. During the stay we were both unwell unfortunately but staying at t he apartment helped us feel like we were still a part of the Port de Soller given the incredible view.

The stairs were pretty challenging upon arrival with 2 large suitcases given we had travelled internationally but that was ok once we got up, probably good to let guests know this is to be expected. The sat nav on the car didn’t find the location well, albeit the pics I had seen before were helpful, given this, probably best to include some instructions on the best spot to park. I had also sent and received a message re parking which I recall mentioned there was no restricted parking; i parked at the top of the street near the Musée and walked down the stairs to the apartment, I received a parking fine as I was not aware that a resident sticker was required to park there, I suggest that you advise guests of this very clearly and provide clear alternative parking options as this was disappointing.

The location was excellent even though we had to walk up the hill and then three flights of stairs

The host Company was not very communicative. The instructions were as follows: Santa Caterina D'Alexandria 46 Stair 1 right 3rd Floor Apt. nº 6 (white door). There is no mention that there are two entrances for number 46. As we arrived from the top of the street, we went up the stairs and were trying to get the keys at No 6, on the third floor. Two people arrived to inform us that they were staying in Number 6!!! We tried to contact the agent by phone with no reply. After much looking around we discovered that there is another set of stairs , all the apartments are numbered the same , and finally found no 6., also on the 3rd floor! The instructions could have at least been very specific stating clearly that there are two sets of stairs, and to use the set on the right hand side. I sent an email asking about disposal of rubbish as there are no instructions for this , but did not receive any reply. In my opinion all the agent was interested in doing was to collect money with NO customer service

Lovely view from balcony which is sunny for breakfast and shaded in afternoon so good if hot Well equiped and very clean Good location

Second bedroom is tiny with no window - really only suitable for small child Steep hill to get to apartment and no lift to 3 rd floor so not suitable for those with limited mobility No welcome pack

The view from the apartment and balcony is stunning and worth the walk up the steps. The actual apartment is well equipped, has air conditioning and is quite peaceful for a good nights sleep. It is convenient for getting around generally and for nearby restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay again.

There were a lot of emails/messages about different things after confirming the booking which was quite confusing.

The apartment was lovely, clean & everything you could want. The views amazing.

The apartment was hard to get to. Up a steep hill with at least 52 steps. Our transfer shuttle could not access this property. We were left at the port. Had to carry suitcases up the steep hill. Then had to get them up to the third floor. This part our fault should have found this out. I contacted the property agents in Majorca for advise about return journey. Cars were able to pull up outside but Shuttle Direct wanted confirmation that if they could send a car it was ok as it was residents only. The response was that they were booking agents and for me to ask the driver! We had to get the cases again back to the port on return. It made it difficult because it was very hot
