Location and views from huge rooftop terrace - so perfect to sit out on at any time of the day and so quiet - no street noise. Can’t wait to book another trip. 5* The host was so helpful with tips for staying and so quick to reply to any queries - thank you!

The location of the property was great - very short walk from Nord station and lots of great restaurants/bars very close by. Communication to/from the host was easy and he was very quick to respond to any questions. Access via a lift (9th floor apartment) was a godsend. Terrace overlooking the square and surrounds was great and very well furnished with outdoor table/chairs and sun lounges.

Basic tea/coffee/milk would have been nice to have on arrival. No dish cloth or tea towel to dry dishes, yet it's an apartment with cooking facilities. Beds are up against the wall so one person has to climb over the other if you need the bathroom during the night. The handle on the door to the terrace was broken, but the host was very quick to attend to this issue. One set of keys makes it tricky when there's 2 couples not necessarily always doing the same activity. It would help if there was some sort of info manual on arrival with instructions on how the blinds work, washing machine etc. It might seem obvious to the host, but not always that simple for guests to work these things out.

The location was perfect and the property itself was lovely

No nightstand or bedside lighting. The closet was full of the owners stuff so there was no where to put our items. The linens and towels were old. There was a blanket I found to put on the bed and it was stained. There was only one trash can in the entire apartment. There was only one set of keys provided for 4 people.

The property is in prime location could not have asked for better. We enjoyed the terrace, being in the penthouse gave us amazing views (if it wasn’t for the scaffolding next door) which is not the properties fault. Lounge area very bright and airy.

The apartment could do with a step leading to the terrace. It is quite a big step up and down, one has to be very careful. The bedrooms were very small and confined especially one of the rooms, nowhere to put any toiletries / no wall mirror. It was fine for us as we only spent 3 nights but wouldn’t have wanted to be in there any longer, there was also a lot of the housekeeping things in many of the draws ie cleaning items etc. A little booklet (manual ) would have been most helpful although the owner did offer a few tips and advise each time I called.

Fantastic location within walking distance from the old town and plenty of shops and restaurants. Lovely outdoor terrace and spacious living area. Our host was very helpful meeting us at the apartment and showing us around. Facilities to do laundry and self catering.

Beds were against the wall and no shelves to put items on next to bed. However, the beds were very comfortable. Building going on next door was noisy even at midnight.

Excellent location. Great bright apartment with a spacious lounge . Two double bedrooms which could comfortably sleep four ( most other properties only had one bedroom and one sofa bed so this was quite unique). Beautiful bit of outdoor space on the terrace. Shame it was too windy for us to enjoy it properly.

The pillows! Honestly so cheap and lumpy and terribly thin. Very cramped bathrooms.

Proximity to old town and transport . Location near good restaurants, bars and historical centre .

The one thing that stood out was access to the terrace - there was a high step of about 30 cms that was difficult to negotiate. This would be very easily rectified with the addition of a small step to bridge that high gap between terrace and apartment . Wouldn’t be easy for people with mobility problems . Also just a surface or luggage stand to hold cases for easy access in bedrooms . And a coffee table in front of sofa would be a nice addition . Just a few practical issues really.

The terrace, the living room and the location are really great! The host is very nice, easy to reach and gives good tips.

Unfortunately it smells of sewage from time to time. No storage space by the bed for glasses, mobile phone etc. A shelf would be nice. Some clutter and junk in the kitchen cupboards and drawers. An extra cupboard for cleaning things would be good. How about a small table by the sofa?

Clean, spacious, amazing location and an incredible terrace

The roof terrace was absolutely fantastic - the perfect place to sit for morning coffee and tea and early evening drinks. The whole apartment was beautifully decorated and modern. Great location for two couples as 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. amazingly central location which was really close to shops, bars, restaurants and the railway station - perfect for a city break.

The bed was up against the wall which made it difficult to get in and out -a little more room each side would've been amazing. The wardrobe had a lot of bedding, towels, etc. in it so we ended up living out of our suitcase whereas the lounge had loads of space - if some of the storage was here it would make the bedroom even more comfortable.
