Apartamento Aldako by SanSe Holidays

The location was very convenient.

First of all lack of internet access was a big issue despite it was advertised as super fast and of good quality. The contact person was not very helpful about that. Sorry but wifi without Internet access is not very helpful. Nowhere else in Spain this summer had I such a problem... Second thing is comfort and cleanliness of the appartment. Requires some changes.

The property is located in a place similar to the fabela of Brazil, they don't even explain that it is on a mountain and that you have to climb almost 4 floors of stairs to get there. It is a very ugly neighborhood area, where they are under construction right next door and at 7:00 AM the blows and drills began without stopping until the afternoon, inside the apartment almost all the appliances are damaged. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING, the heat is horrible, the microwave does not work, the sink is thick, the TV in the room does not have a remote control. In the bathroom for 9 days only two toilet paper and 4 towels. The soap of the hands, the empty handle, the shower with mold. The drain detached from the floor was also broken. On several occasions when we arrived at night on the stairs to access the apartment there were people smoking marijuana just before arriving. When you arrive at night it seems that you arrive at a house of horror, all dark and frightening. The photos they put on the front of the facade have nothing to do with what it really is. Anyway, I don't recommend this apartment to anyone. We paid for a 5-star hotel and I don't get a single star. I called on the phone asking if I could turn on an air that they had on the wall that said DO NOT TOUCH .. to which they told me to open the windows if I wanted air. I spent the whole stay killing flies inside the apartment. The most horrible place I've ever visited.I have more pictures to show

The contact Alex was helpful and replied immediately to any queries. The shower, hot water and washing machine were all good. The area is quiet, if a bit run down.

The property was difficult to find and one needs to be fit as it is up a steep hill with many steps. There was no hair dryer having specifically asked if there was one. It came fairly quickly though. The internet was intermittent but was swiftly fixed when Alex was informed. On one occasion it was due to a fire somewhere. The whole flat was filthy and I had to sweep the floors on arrival. Hair and dust everywhere. A big mistake was to look under the sofa for a lost earring! The sofa bed mattress was dirty and stained, we vacuumed it before use. It should have a mattress cover. The vacuum cleaner was dirty. The photographs in no way show the true reality of the property. It is tired and in need of refurbishment. Plugs were dangerous. Only 1 wine glass. The garden was in no way as in the photograph, the grass is fake and there were weeds rather than flowers. The chopping knives were blunt and bent. No rack to dry plates and no tea towel.
