The balcony was lovely and the area was quite.

The host was rude and threatened to not let me in the property due to missing my bus and my check-in time being delayed. Check-in is till 8:30pm and I arrived 8:15pm but the host was frustrated that I changed the time and threatened me even though I arrived during the times that was stated on the website. I convinced her to let me in by agreeing to pay an illegal and informal payment of €30. I paid it to avoid not having a place to stay for the night as I was alone and in a foreign country. This set my holiday up on a bad vibe and it felt less welcoming to stay in the home of someone who was rude and threatened me. I’ll be making a formal complaint to booking.com. Additionally, the wall length window on the entrance stairs is not locked so safety is jeopardised. It was broken and this wasn’t mentioned on the website. Also, there was no toilet paper and I had to buy my own which is not proper when you book a home for holiday - the bare minimum requirement is toilet paper. The bedroom has no proper window and as a summer house that is a big set back as fresh air and day light doesn’t enter the bedroom. I ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room which was hard and uncomfortable. Felt like I was a guest in the home I paid the full price for. The home was filled was aggressive notes like ‘if you loose the key for the pool you will have to pay €200’ - it felt like the hosts were finding every reason to fine and exploit the customers. Not a good vibe. The beach is a 35-40 minute walk from the home which is slightly annoying as it’s a summer house and there isn’t much else going on around. Unless you have a car it’s long. The pool has no shezlong, just tiles and no lounge opportunity which is a setback, I never used it, it didn’t look inviting at all. Overall will not recommend. Hosts for holiday homes represent the hospitality for the country and this host was rude and aggressive. I will not recommend.

Well equipped. Good apartment near to shops, main roads etc.

Bed quite uncomfortable and would benefit from warmer bedding.

The apartment had extra pillows but no pillowcases and the only one sheet for each bed. The beds were very uncomfortable. The seating in the lounge was also uncomfortable. Because we booked a 3 wk stay the towels and linen were not adequate and we had to use the washing machine several times. The wash basin in bathroom was cracked and taps were rusty.conservatory leaked when it rained. We were not given a swimming pool key. The outside door was very hard to push open and the grill door lock only opened from the outside .
