The apartment has a basic set up, i.e. cutlery, crockery, towels (one large and small bathing towel per person and one extra blanket style towel, quite limited).

The Wi-Fi offered is that owned and used by the host in their home, which is an apartment above the property. Therefore, the signal is weak, sometimes not working throughout the apartment and not reaching the area the bed is in. The children of the host played with the key code door handle a few times (no key, just a code that any member of their family might have) and tried to open the door while we were getting changed into clothes to head out for the day. A man was present with the kids (host also? Host’s husband?) who didn’t say hello, say sorry, stop the kids from doing this or introduce himself which made the situation so unfriendly and unsafe feeling. The kids only stopped playing with the door handle when I opened the door and said “stop”. The kids continued to try look through the cracks between the curtains as my partner and I tried to get ready to leave - really unacceptable. There should have been more bathing towels. The apartment itself is at the ground floor with the sleeping section being slightly elevated. The building is another story higher. The apartment’s windows face an internal courtyard, making it very dark at all times. Due to the lack of privacy, drawing the curtains is the only option for privacy.

Property is located 10 mins walk from the centre. Free parking on the street outside the property. Property was accessed through the main door on the street with a PIN code the through the door to the apartment with another PIN code so it’s very safe. The apartment is exactly as the photos show it’s clean quirky and well equipped. There is no air-con just a portable fan in the mezzanine bedroom but we visited in October so this was enough to keep the apartment cool. The bed was extremely firm so I had to use the spare quilt as a topper. The laundry room was a great addition but you can’t leave your washing out to dry in the shared courtyard. Bottled water and an insulated bottle was left out for us and more water, towels & bedding were available in a cupboard in the entrance hall. The owner was contactable through Booking messaging and responded very quickly and also provided local information.
