Nasrid Panorama - Casa con terraza 360 º en Plaza Larga - Albaicín

The property for convenient access to Sacramento, Plaza San Nicolas, and a couple of great coffee shops close by, which we would highly recommend. Plus the views from the rooftop terrace were pretty cool. Communications with the host were fine. We felt very safe in the apartment and in Granada in general. Be aware that there is a vibe of anti mass tourism in Andalucía, but mostly in Malaga and Granada. The property location also meant that it was really easy to get to other Plaza's around Albayzin - all of which were worth a visit for some light refreshments and tapas! ;-)

I had read reviews indicating that although Plaza Larga was busy, that there was no noise from it. The opposite is true, large commercial bins are emptied almost nightly (at 12 am, 2am etc), Plaza restaurants with external areas are open until very late in the evening, and shop keepers are setting up early in the morning - so, be prepared for noise (even with the windows closed and external shutter down). The apartment itself needs some TLC, the floors are marked, scraped etc, the shower needs re sealed, the sofa is badly stained etc. Read between the lines on Plaza Larga reviews, it's the core of Albayzin, but this means that it's very busy from early morning to late evening - including lots of tours, even late evening! it's very buzy, which is both good and bad. It's all about how you sleep and what you are looking for.

The location was excellent, parking was close and easy, and the apartment was great! It was easy to get in and out, instructions were clear

Well presented, nice layout, light and airy despite location. Everything you could need to eat in if you chose, plenty nice shops, bars, restaurants close by. Easy walk to city but buses are a frequent option if you have old knees like me!

Nothing to dislike. Although over a very busy square, it is really quiet at night and the terrace is a pretty place to chill

The location was amazing I loved that area the most, it was my first visit but I’m glad I chose this area close to everything and the view from there is incredible just a 5 minute walk to the most incredible view ever

A very comfortable place that is enjoyed the more you stay. Very well equipped gives a safe and well positioned starting point for ventures in Granada. Al-Bayyatin is quite magical, the possibility to enjoy at least twice a day the Mirador san Nicolas (2mins) with its dazzling view of Alhambra is precious, surroundings of the Plaza larga interesting. There is a convinient market downstairs, few restaurants and coffees, the way down to the centre can give you an insight of what could had been the area in the times if rulers of Alhambra. A common terrace with a washing machine and place to sit or admire the view is a very pleasant touch. The host is very helpful and responsive- thank you for your help and advices! Definitely a place to come back, even if it can be moderately noisy during the night and in the morning hours - but you also can be fortunate enough to have a private flamenco concert. One thing - unless you are a backpacker please use a taxi or ar least 32 bus to drive you up with luggages.

The location, on the tree-shaded Plaza Large, was wonderful. The square is shaded by trees and has an excellent restaurant with mainly Spanish clientele. A few tourists walk through and there are some artisan shops dotted around the area but on the whole it feels local and real, rather than a place that only exists for tourism. The shop beneath the apartment is tiny and old-fashioned with people serving, rather than a supermarket. It has good produce and is clearly patronised by local people so prices are not inflated and while small, it had everything we needed. The apartment is super-clean and the double bedroom, with its little balcony overlooking the square, is magical. I took a brief siesta one afternoon and woke to someone gently playing Spanish guitar below, not for money but for love of the ambience. The apartment was very well equipped (except for a coffee machine or kettle) and the air-conditioning is new, easy to use and very effective. Beds and linen were very comfortable, the bathroom was fine with a strong shower and good towels. The crowning glory is the roof terrace with amazing views in all directions, of mountains, the Alhambra, the medieval buildings of the Albaycin. Communication with the host was perfect.

We loved everything. Unfortunately I never found the coffee maker so look harder in the cupboard above the microwave!

Great apartment on a traditional square in the heart of the Old Town. Surrounded by a variety of cafes and restaurants which had a relaxed local vibe and friendly staff.. A few minutes walk from Mirador St Nicolas and easy to walk to the city centre down a long pathway of stairs. We enjoyed the roof terrace for mornings and evenings. We had two small balconies to watch the world go by. Really helpful hosts. Wish we were still there....
