Apartamento En El Centro De Nerja

The location was fantastic - arrangements for access excellent.there was a lot of space.

Unfortunately we felt the flat did not live up to the photos- it looked tired- towels were poor quality and bedding seemed mis matched and not as attractive as in photos. Storage was limited to fitted cupboards with no drawer space available to put items in- it was 2 bedroomed but we were a couple and had to use both bedrooms to organise clothing etc. Kitchen area was small, worktop needs updating and hardly any space for our food other than fridge- it was set in a good-sized dining area,but limited work surfaces.The large sideboard could have helped but was not available since it had items in there already.We had a lot of trouble with wifi not working - information was given to the owner and eventually we were told it wasn't working and a router was provided but we had to attempt installation ourselves having been told it was easy ,eventually a friend of owner came to help and he also had difficulty but eventually it worked- lots of messages and time wasted from our holiday- new installation offered but more time wasted since we had to be in- we said to leave till after we left. No instruction sheet available and we had problems working out hob and dishwasher .In the end we left a day early. All this was communicated to customer services.

Location, nice building and good size

We found cockroaches in the room, bath and Cooking area. Not enough room to cook, wasn’t clean and without basic equipment. Low level of maintenance in general at the apartment. A/C didn’t work well, closest s broken. Customer service very inefficient, took 2 days to answer and what was offered didn’t comply.

Air con leak , bulbs not work in lights , tv remote batteries dead,

everything is close

Noisy air conditioner in master bedroom and bedside tables fall if you touch them. If I moved to a room facing the street (because the air conditioner doesn't squeak there), then the street noise starts early. I didn't really rest on vacation. The green sofa is dirty, not for sitting.

The apartment is lovely and clean great size and perfect location so central to everything.

There's a lock box system to check in we didn't receive any message with a code before arrival and it took an hour of messaging and phone calls (getting hung up on) before we got it. Very first world problem I know but really frustrating standing in a small busy street with cases and we were worried that we had been scammed at the time. We received the check in email the following day 🤔

The central position of the apartment was excellent as we could pop in and out whenever we wanted during the day, handy for dropping off shopping or have a rest before venturing out again. Nerja's numerous restaurants and shops were all within a few minutes stroll from the front door and the virtual absence of traffic in the central area made wandering around a pleasure.

As the apartment was above a small bar it was a little noisy at times in the evening but it seemed to become quiet around 11o'clock so only a minor gripe. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nerja and will return again.
