Armada

We loved staying at Armada! We were there during the truly historical Spain/ Portugal black out! And to add on, it was a festival day. So the restaurants were all closed, and if they were open, they couldn’t served cooked food. We couldn’t buy at supermarket either because they were closed. And Jesus, the owner, like a superhero he is, came to rescue and brought us some food. We were truly thankful! The apartment is located very close to the cathedral of Tui, with cafes at very close walking distance. The apartment is very clean, and very spacious, and very comfortable, with quite a complete amenities. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Truly felt like home.

Nothing really! When we stayed there were a problem with the Wifi, but I think it’s because of the black out. Plus the owner and his son tried to help us tremendously. So it was really nice. We also couldn’t figure out how to work the washing machine, but that’s probably our own fault 😄. And we were fine washing by hand.

WiFi did not work the whole two days we stayed. Most of the rooms heaters didn’t work. There was hair in the bathroom from previous guests.

The attention to detail and communication by the owner were second to none. Perfect location for Camino walkers or holiday makers alike.
