Nothing we liked

We booked Studio Heidi Property through Booking.com expecting a private studio with a private pool, as advertised. Unfortunately, this was very misleading. The accommodation was not private — we were sharing the house with the owner and another person. The so-called “private” facilities, including the beach area, were used by everyone staying at the property. The studio also had serious hygiene and comfort issues. There was a significant insect problem, with ants and spiders inside the room. We were waking up to ants and spiders in the bed and around our belongings, which was extremely uncomfortable — especially as I was travelling with my pregnant wife. There was no proper heating in the studio. Only one very small heater was provided and it did not heat the room at all. My pregnant wife was cold every night. When we asked for an additional heater, the request was refused. The most disappointing part of our stay was the host’s behaviour on checkout. We were approximately 30 minutes late as we were cleaning and washing the dishes before leaving. The host arrived visibly angry, shouting and threatening to call the police, demanding that we leave immediately. My wife was not even dressed at the time, yet the situation was handled in a very aggressive and humiliating manner, causing her significant stress. As a regular Booking.com customer, I have never experienced such a combination of misleading advertising, poor living conditions, and unprofessional behaviour. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this property.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the cozy linens to the well-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect: quiet enough for relaxation, yet close to everything I needed. Our host Heidi was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and I appreciated the local tips they shared, which made the trip even better. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free Airbnb experience. Thank you Heidi for an amazing stay!

Tout était très bien : le studio, la propreté, la vue, la piscine, la terrasse extérieure avec coin cuisine à disposition. L'hôte était vraiment sympa et nous a fort bien conseillé pour les visites à faire. Merci Heidi !

The property is very clean inside and out. Our host Heidi was professional and helpful. We enjoyed the pool, did our laundry and thoroughly enjoyed the little suite. Everything one would need was thought of and prepared for.

It’s on the very edge of La Orotava up on the hill. It’s a little bit difficult to park. We had the hottest days on the record (very unusual weather) and she didn’t have a fan because it was never this hot before.

Amazing mini house, where you have everything necessary to stay. We had wonderful 7 days with great view, pool almost just for us in calm area of La Orotava. The location is great as you can go everywhere by car. Heidi was very helpful and suggested us plenty of places to visit around. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Studio Heidi for a couple vacation.

Thank you very, Heidi, for offering a house in such a wonderful place. When we arrived, we were demonstrated the accommodation and amenities. Amazing views. Moreover, everything was very clean and there was all things to cook the food. Keep in mind there is no washing machine, but there are some laundries nearby.
