Las Canteras Beach VV

Perfect location. Transport. Beach. Mairizio (host) is No 1!

Location was the best thing of the place, it was perfect next to the beach. There were all utilities to spend a comfortable time and to cook. Maurizio the host was very nice and kind person.

It was not very clean: we found several dirty cups and dishes. Under the table there were hair and bread crumbs. The place is a bit noisy: trucks loading and unloading early in the morning.

Great location! Nice apartment with all you need to have a nice vacation near "Playa de Las Cantreras". All household appliances worked properly. The bed was comfortable. There were enough towels in the toilet. Maurizio is a great host who you can always call if you need anything. I wish him all the best in his future work. I will definitely book again if it's free when I plan a vacation in Las Palmas again!

The location is just by the beach, there is a large superdino supermarket just a few minutes away. Maurizo was a great host, came to change my sheets every week and was always in contact. There is a washing machine and a washing line just outside the window.

The appartment has all what is needed, Maurizio is a great host. I also liked the location, the beach is nearby, so is the natutal reserve

You get what you pay for - it was really good for the price I paid. Had all needed facilities but without frills, an OK bed - on the hard side for me and no mattress topper (thin mattress on top of the spring mattress), nice bathroom, OK sofa, fan and TV. Being non spanish speaker I appreciated that NetFlix was available and I brought an HDMI cable that could be plugged in. Really good blackout curtains. I booked a studio with sea view - and there was a sea view - if you leaned out the window and looked to the right you could see a sliver of water some 100 meters away (or more). This was expected, but I would propose that the studio not be marketed as "sea view". This meant however that the windows were towards the street so some city noise could be heard most times of the day but this time of year (nov) it was not annoying even on a Saturday night.

The lack of bedside/reading lights. The only lights were very harsh ceiling lights. Some smaller more "cosy" lamps/reading lights by the bedside would be appreciated. As mentioned above - a mattress topper would be nice. Since I checked in through a key safe and didn't meet anyone in person it would have been good with some general information on paper/in a folder or similar regarding such things as where to throw garbage, is the water drinkable etc, check in/check out times etc, buses have to be paid with cash, closest food store - the usual helpful hints.

amazing location - so close to the beach and tons of food options and grocery shopping close by.

such a minor thing but the toilet is so close to the sink that you have to sit on an angle and the shower is handheld and would be so nice if it wasn’t.
