Apartments Serrería II

Location

This is a company-managed apartment. To pick up the keys, you have to go all the way to the other side of the city, which means losing at least an hour. The apartment was definitely not worth the price. There were cockroaches running all over the building. When we moved in, the place was dirty, with thick layers of dust everywhere. We couldn’t manage to clean it properly ourselves. We asked for a vacuum cleaner, but got no response at all. One bathroom had a leaking shower head, which was fixed several days later, but during that time the water was dripping day and night causing me to loose sleep over it. Curtains were broken, so you needed to manually lower them down and get dirty because windows were probably never cleaned on the outside. Then the sink broke and started leaking, flooding the entire kitchen. We asked for a plumber, but again, no one replied, so we had to deal with the problem using a bucket. On top of that, the apartment smelled terrible. There’s also a school right across from the apartment, and from Monday to Friday it’s extremely noisy with constant shouting. Another issue is that the company requires you to sign a separate contract outside of the Booking.com platform and demands a €400 deposit, which is not mentioned anywhere on Booking. Also, we had to wait 2 months to get the invoice, being ignored all this time.

They took a deposit of 400 euros before check-in. It's been 5 days, the deposit hasn't been returned, they don't answer calls or messages! The coffee maker doesn't work, I reported this several times and there was no response. Very low water pressure. They also came to us without notice, just to the apartment. It was very strange. The mattresses are very uncomfortable, and the seats on the sofas don't hold their shape.

The location and the internet were very good. The apartment was very clean and had a lot of space. I had fell issues and after a few days, they went there and fixed some of the problems.

To collect the key I had to go to a different place, I was not aware of that in time to collect earlier, the information was provided too late. We had to take a cab to go there and to come back which was very inconvenient. The was a smell very bad in one of the bathrooms, which I complained about and the guy went there and told me it was because it was not been used which for me should be an excuse we had to keep the door always closed and almost didn't use that main bathroom. Also, the main bed was not comfortable, it feels that was broken.
