Apartamento MEDAL

The location is perfect, I think El Cotillo is one of the best places to get around the island of Fuerteventura. It’s not too crowded, not too small. Supermarket and restaurants are all very close, and also the beach is 5 min walk away. We also had to work from the apartment and it was very comfortable to do so. The living space with the kitchen is pretty big and we enjoyed cooking and spending our work days in the house. Melania, the host, has been super helpful with all the questions and issues we had.

There are few things that while they didn’t ruin our time in Fuerte, need to be acknowledged. Hopefully they can improve on these things so we’ll come back next year: - The bed was a bit too small than expected and than what it looks in the pictures. We are a “short” couple, but if you are more than 1.80 you will not fit in the bed. The mattress itself was also a bit uncomfy. - In Fuerte, especially in summer, it can happen that El Cotillo runs out of water. This happened for about 40% of our stay. While Melania did everything possible to help, and they got some company to fill the water deposit tanks twice, we had to stay 6-7 days without any water and it was not the best of experiences. It didn’t ruin our time in Fuerte, but unfortunately this happened. Anyway I’m sure they will work on this to not let the water tanks be empty in the future.

A very well equipped apartment, spacious and in a good location very near the old harbour.

The apartment lacks character- very white! The bar next door is surprisingly noisy at night so I had to keep the balcony doors shut in order to seep.

We had a really nice stay at Apartamento MEDAL. Its location, equipment, comfort and coziness made us want to come back again. The host was nice and easy to communicate with and she brought us fresh towels and sheets during our stay. Yes, there is a bar downstairs, but we didn’t mind.

It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything you needed. Great location and no issues with noise.
