Hello I cannot understand that you on booking.com can participate in renting out this type of apartment in Nerja. The apartment maintains such a poor standard in terms of quality. It has not been renovated in the last 10 years. Cleaning under all criticism. Many things do not work, coffee maker, lock on patio door, etc. I will get back to you on booking.com. Perfect location and with a chill, private pool.

The positives for this apartment were: 1. This apartment is in a block on a prime location opening onto the beach, with restaurants on your door step and only a 5 minute stroll from the centre and Balcon de Europe. 2. The apartment is quite large and has good potential. 3. The pool area is very well maintained and sheltered for those windy days. 4. TV is modern and has a comprehensive range of stations in all languages. 4. The host was very accommodating in allowing us an early check-in, which was much appreciated.

Unfortunately there were many negatives associated this apartment: 1. The décor, furniture and kitchen is quite dated and in need of a refurbishment. 2. While relatively clean the apartment would benefit from a deep clean. 3. Unfortunately the apartment is overwhelmed by oversized furniture, it was difficult to use the wardrobes as there is so little space between them and the beds. 4. Bedroom and lounge furniture is orientated inland towards the road, this would be better facing to the beach. 5. The apartment is located on the 4th floor putting it level with the main road, while not too much traffic, we were woken every night around 1:30 am by the bin lorries collected refuse and bottles, this was very noisy.

Double bedroom very dingy and dark due to only having one tiny window which needed covering as people walk past and can see in all the time. Both bathrooms very smelly and damp because they have no windows to allow steam to escape - also needed updating as rather tired. Aircon in twin room very smelly when on and often switched to heat rather than cool. Pool was lovely but freezing cold everyday. Not heated so very limited number of people used it. Braved a swim each day but wasn't very enjoyable which was a shame really as it could be a fabulous addition to the block. Also no proper bedding. There were no sheets on the top of the beds as covers. Just empty duvet covers which barely fit the beds so wasn't very comfortable to sleep under - proper top sheets should be provided. Towels - only one bath towel provided per person for a whole week.

The property agent arranged our taxi transfer from the airport and made sure the taxi driver was aware they were to collect the keys from the office on the way to the property. This saved us arranging with the taxi driver and was extremely convenient.

Really struggling to find anything but if I was to nit pick, during our 2nd week some neighbours had noisy dogs. Not anyones fault but it was a bit annoying at times.
