Apartamento Asuncion

We loved the location the aircon beds were comfy.. Close to bars restaurants and the beach. 3 day trip so was just right for what we needed... there's there's little balcony at the front but no furniture to sit outside which was a Shame.

When we arrived we had to collect the key at another location then with the help of Google maps we spent one and a half hours looking for the appartment in the heat with all our bags. I messaged the reception but replies were slow. I did ask could someone meet us to show us where the appartment was but with no joy. We were all roasting tired and hungry so we decided to shower and look for a place to eat once we finally found the appartment. This is when we had our next issue. The water in the shower was ice cold there was no direction as to how to Heat the water we eventually figured it out on the second evening. I asked for an extension of a few hours to our booking we were willing to pay extra but it was refused. The owner arrived on the dot of 12 and basically threw us out. We were 5 but only 2 of us were there the others were on the way back he didn't allow us even 5 mins for them to take their luggage so we had to between two of us take all the bags and suitcases for 5 people. After i got home the owner contacted me via booking.com to let me know he left a complaint about how we left the appartment dirty. We left all the rubbish bagged up in the kitchen and cleaned everything apart from the bathroom as it was still in use. Again there was no direction as to where to dispose of rubbish. We only had 3 days so didn't have time to figure things out as our time was short.

Perfect location and helpful host. Keys were easy to arrange. Very clean and spacious for us (2 guests). The kitchen was well equipped but a few more bigger glasses and coffee cups and clean sponges for washing up would be better.

One of the single bed frames was broken. The bathroom and facilities were fine for us but would be a little cramped at capacity. The addition of shower glass has not been updated in the photos but was a welcome addition. Terrace furniture would have been nice to have.

The location is perfect for the beach front and Old Town.

Decor a little bit run down. And plates were broken and cracked plus knifes and folks had seen better days.

Lovely spacious apartment, fantastic location. Had everything we needed for a fab holiday.

Parking was hard work at times .
