Barcelona coast apartment - only 5 minutes to the beach

Great location. Close to beach & Vilassar centre with shops & cafes. Can sleep up to 6 people. Listed as a 2 bedroom but actually has 3. My daughter very much enjoyed trying out the bunk beds as well as her double bed. Bed in small double bedroom is very comfortable. Air conditioning works very well.

Very noisy, thin walls we could hear everything neighbours are saying, dogs barking, foot steps & upstairs were moving furniture around at 2am. Whole place smells of damp. Not cleaned well as we found underwear in one of the drawers & a flip flop under the bed left by previous guests. Kitchen very tiny to accommodate 6 people & the fridge freezes everything. Bathroom is very small & looks very dated (from 1980”s). The cabinet doesn’t close so looks like they stuck it with Velcro?! Tv remote broken & they stuck it together with tape. The apartment is very basic & over priced. Great if you’re only going to come here to use the beds & don’t mind noise. I come to Vilassar every year as I have friends here but will not book this place again & do not recommend.

++ Appt propre, clim très appréciable et fonctionnelle, literie confortable, spacieux et produits de première nécessité fournis. Wifi fonctionne mais portée limitée : dans le salon uniquement Localisation top : proche plage à pied , commerces (alimentation, bars, restaurant) du vieux Vilassar. Situé dans une voie sans issue donc aucun bruit le soir en extérieur, très paisible . Le patio est bien pour faire sécher serviettes et avoir un petit peu d’air extérieur ( toit partiellement fermé) , mais il y fait très chaud à cette période, donc nous n’y avons pas pris nos repas .

— très très bruyant car mal insonorisé : on entend les voisins au dessus surtout le soir de 21h jusqu’à 03h30 du matin (samedi) sinon 00h00 dans la semaine ( bruit de pas, objets qui tombent sur le sol, on les entend parler, etc) ou sinon prendre stock de boule quies!!! — frigidaire qui congèle tout ( à changer !) Vu le prix à la nuit, cela est très désagréable. C’est dommage car sinon tout est parfait et prix serait justifié

L'emplacement, propreté de l'appartement, les plages sont à côté.

Difficultés de parking le soir.

There is a nice square nearby, some stores to buy food and you can walk to the seaside.

We could hear all the neighbours around and especially the ones from the upper floor, talking, eating, using the bathroom, making all sorts of noises week ends including. The apartment and the facilities given are old, not working well or missing. There was a smell of humidity. The apartment needs a refurbishment ASAP.

The best was the location, 5 minutes from the beach front and close to Cabrera de Mar/Vilassar de Mar train station. There is a small supermarket where you can buy essentials like mineral water (don't drink tap water!), some food and bath stuff like shampoo and soap. The rooms were fine, like in the pictures. The beds were comfy and clean. The staff of the agency Cloud5Barcelona were kind and flexible with our petition of late arrival and departure. Also, when something was needed they reacted on time and were helpful with tips and general information.

The house was too warm inside, no air co, even with the 2 ventilators it was not enough. At night we had the windows open and it was like an oven. The fridge didn't work properly, it didn't cool well and also leaked (we reported this). I missed also kitchen essentials like a dishcloth (bought one myself), bowls. The  cutlery was quite basic. The bathup was dirty and the shower was too old. The shower curtain had fungi stains.
