Good for a short stay and well-connected by metro and bus to the city centre.

Good communication with owner. Decent accommodation for the price. Everything worked though did not use washing machine. Not long 10-12 min walk uphill/downhill to metro station with few stops to Atoha. Small grocery market nearby and beer bar. Quiet if not dead as some would say neighbourhood.

Though clean property needs some TLC. Apartment is what some would call rather cozy. Kitchenette and small dual purpose living/bed room with two single Murphys beds. Arrangement is little odd. Imagine front street store converted into apartment with room door opening directly to fortunately not busy street sidewalk, anyway you just sleep but not live there visiting Madrid. Advice: from airport take taxi. It is not worth to take metro. No parking garages nearby and parking and street parking problematic.

I think description said double bed but it was 2 single beds we would have preferred one large double bed

the location was ok and the room is good. You can take the metro direct to the center so it is easy to move.

Everything was ok.

A simple but clean and tidy apartment which was good VFM. The beds were fold-down, one mattress was a bit soft. There was a microwave and hob for cooking, and a washing machine in the kitchen. Just a small selection of crockery and utensils. The shower and toilet worked well. The room had an A/C but we did not need to use it. There was a colour DTV (the only decent channel is the Spanish news!) Although there was a small bar on the square opposite there was no noise or disturbance, even on the day of Real v Athletico. Just 10 mins to Buenos Aires metro, 5 mins to the Cafe Noventa (breakfast) and also 5 mins to the nearest Dio supermarket.

Because the apartment is ground floor it opened direct to the street and the windows were shuttered (the shutter did not open fully). This meant there was little natural light.
