Pilgrim’s House

Pilgrim’s House | Stay: December 20-21 Pilgrim’s House was an excellent choice and easily one of the most pleasant stays of my journey. The apartment is perfectly located in the very center of O Pedrouzo, making everything accessible on foot—restaurants, shops, and services—while still providing a quiet and comfortable environment to rest. The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally well maintained. It features a fully equipped kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and two comfortable bedrooms, all thoughtfully laid out across two floors, which adds a wonderful sense of space and privacy. The layout is ideal for relaxation after a long day, especially for pilgrims or travelers who truly need to recover. One of the highlights was the beautiful views from both floors, which added a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere to the stay. The heating system was excellent, keeping the apartment warm and cozy throughout the night—something absolutely essential in December. Equally impressive was the hot water system, which provided consistent, reliable hot water with no interruptions, making showers truly enjoyable and stress-free. Everything about this place met and even exceeded my expectations. It was clean, comfortable, modern, and clearly well cared for. Pilgrim’s House strikes the perfect balance between charm, functionality, and comfort. I would absolutely recommend Pilgrim’s House without hesitation and would gladly stay here again. A top-tier accommodation in O Pedrouzo and an outstanding place to rest before the next stage of the journey.

the amenities and location is perfect. heating is very good. restaurants are steps away.

Host was exceptionally helpful with a few questions I had during the stay re: laundry and heat. Very large apartment, super clean, on the camino with restaurants that were open late (on a Sunday!) right downstairs.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable, but we learned to accept this on the Camino

Apartamento moderno, todo muy nuevo. Muy limpio. Camas comodisimas. Dueño muy atento. Se nos quedaron unos auriculares en el alojamiento y tuvo el detalle de acercarlos a Santiago.

The washer/dryer was difficult to use. An explanation of all the symbols on the controls would be most helpful.
