Apartamento Arenal 7 - PlusHolidays

The location is excellent and the staff at PlusHolidays are great and tried to fix some of our problems with the apartment.

1. The apartment has a problem with cockroaches, PlusHolidays tried to fix it but they kept gaining access. The cockroaches were mainly in the kitchen cupboards, on the kitchen counter tops, in the bathroom and sometimes in the lounge and bedrooms. They even got into our luggage. The whole apartment block needs fumigating and the access points where the cockroaches are getting in blocked. 2. On windy days and nights the large apartment block behind Arenal 7 makes a high pitched sound rather like an organ, it is so loud sometimes that it is difficult to sleep. It is very annoying. 3. The water pressure sometimes goes unacceptably low. This was substantially fixed but sometimes kept happening. 4. The bed in the twin bedroom was stopping the door closing. We had to remove the bedhead so that the bed could be moved back to allow the door to close. Behind the bedhead was a plug socket that was broken and very dangerous. Also the bedhead covering the plug socket meant that there was no way to turn the lights on and off from the bed or plug in a table light.

Location and safe parking were excellent.

Stairs....would have loved a lift ! More kitchen utensils required. Safety mat in shower is much needed... More uk channels would be good. Only sheets provided....no duvets ! We did have large cockroaches visiting but were treated after reporting !!
