The apartment is nicely decorated with everything you need (including an iron, which wasn't actually listed in the facilities list). It was bigger than we expected so as friends travelling together rather than family we didn't feel on top of each other. It was very comfy and we slept well every night (despite the noise). The location is good, right by Las Setas and no more than a 20 minute walk to most of the other main attractions in the city. As well as plenty of food, drink and shopping. Most communication was through the messaging service on the Booking.com app, this was mostly smooth but at times there was a bit of a delay in the app . The check in process was smooth, we arrived in Seville early and they allowed us to leave our luggage in the apartment from 11:30am before officially checking in at 3pm. The cleaner was there to greet us at 11:30 and give us the keys, she did not speak English and my Spanish is almost non-existent but we were able to understand each other to work out which key was for what at the code for the apartment door! The apartment felt very secure with key entry to the street gate and building door and code entry to the apartment. We didn't use it but there is a very small lift in the building, the stairs are quite steep if you had mobility problems.

We had a lovely stay and time in Seville but I think it's worth noting the following... While the apartment is modern in terms of decor, it is in an older building and there is basically no soundproofing at all, you can hear the busy road and the children's playground in the square outside. In the small bedroom nearest the apartment door you can hear the neighbours conversations and TV on full volume, one of our party had to drop out of the trip at the last minute so luckily we didn't need to utilise that room in the end. The small bathroom is tiny! Especially the shower, even as a 5"6 UK size 12-14 it was tight! (The shower in the main bathroom is a double shower, literally 2 shower heads at either end of one walk in shower). We had trouble with the big shower draining very slowly. While it never overflowed onto the floor we had an issue where water had been leaking through to the downstairs neighbour! The hosts were brilliant though and arrived at the apartment to alert us of the issue (they had messaged on the booking.com app but as I previously said messages were quite delayed so I didn't see it in time) and somebody came to fix the problem the next day, so it didn't really impact us. Mostly the apartment appeared very clean but there are some areas that definitely need more detail. For example, the floors couldn't have been mopped very well as all our white socks ended up black. And there were thick layers of dust on all the ceiling fans and vents around the apartment.
