Carmine & Violet Home

It was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed -and more. Having a kitchen and washing machine was so much better than a hotel room. The decor was cute and functional. Great bed! Quiet area too. And self-service checkin.

Loved being close to the centre but not right in it. Shops and bars nearby.

Not a lot of light. Neither from windows or lamps. Noisy due to road below.

Super easy online check in made out a breeze to get in. Our host was prompt in all communications which took the stress out of our arrival. We were dead tired and soaked to the skin when we finished our pilgrimage. Carmine & Violet Home provided a warm, dry, welcoming place to recuperate. Many thanks!😁🙏

Location.

Washing machine was locked/broken. Shower was particularly small with a slanted ceiling. Hard for tall people. A smart TV would’ve been nice. The dehumidifier was a bit loud at night.

The location is an easy walk to the Santiago Cathedral and a number of cafes and restaurants.

The bedroom window faces a busy street with lot’s of noise from traffic late into the evening and again early in the morning. Knowing this upfront you can easily prepare for this with ear plugs.

The apartment was clean and cosy. The host left out some sweets, which was a nice gesture. The accommodation is a 10 min walk from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, and located in a nice quiet part of the old town.

Everything was okay.

Fantastic location very close to centre but a quiet neighbourhood with local restaurants much cheaper than tourist area. Walking distance to everything. Apartment was exceptionally clean with everything you needed. The host Maria was extremely helpful with advice and help. She advised on good restaurants and ordered taxis etc
