Apartamentos La Dorada

Person to.person check in. Great place right on the beach. Free sunlounge and umbtrella. Great hosts who also ran onsite restaurant. All very reasonably priced. Family business with personal touch. Lovely to have non sterile personal contact.

Easy parking, close to the highway. You are right at the semi-private beach. The balcony overlooks it. Some good snorkeling and swimming. Not crowded, especially on weekdays. Extremely friendly staff (the same people who run the restaurant). Restaurant with a variety of dishes in the same building on the ground floor, facing the beach. Fresh local beer on tap. Great sangrias. All that with a sea view, and a VERY short stroll from your apartment. Air conditioning - separate mini splits in bedrooms, so no thermostat wars, this was a welcome surprise. We are from Texas, but summer on Costa del Sol felt hot enough even for us to appreciate having AC. Good base point to explore Andalusia, though we visited less places than we wanted as we enjoyed just staying at the apartment or at the beach too much :) Good kitchen in the appartment and lots of shopping nearby. We staid for 7 days, and would have booked for longer if we knew in advance how great the place is!

We loved everything about these apartments. The staff are amazing… so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I think our favourite thing was the laid back atmosphere, so much more enjoyable than other corporate places we have stayed in the Mijas area. The restaurant serves a super varied menu which is on a beach side venue. The apartments are spotlessly clean with a very typical Spanish feel. We can’t wait to return.

The apartment exceeded our expectations , very comfortable beds ,Aircon in both rooms ,beautiful balcony overlooking a lovely beach with loungers ,nice resturant below

I didn't like that I was charged for a sun lounger when my friends were told the beds are free for people staying in the apartments and they did not have to pay.. I also thought some of the waitresses were quite rude , but one waitress and the man there were brilliant .

The bed was a bit noisy

Great location close to the beach with nice view from the balcony. Very friendly and helpful straff and nice food att their restaurant. Nice with free sunbeds by the usually not so crowded beach. Short walk (10 minuters) to a larger beach with more sandbottom if it is prefered. Easy to find free parking closeby.

A little bit rocky bottom with by the beach with seeweds made it a little bit trickier to walk into the water especially during low tide. It worked fine but we prefered wearing swimmingshoes there. A little bit older style of furniture and bed but it did its job.

The property is so clean and you have everything you need !

Fabulous, spotless family run Apartments with seperate kitchen, bathroom, good size bedroom, lounge are and balcony, very spacious for 2. The family also run their own Restaurant below by the Sea. Even though 33 degrees there is a constant breeze from the sea so very pleasant. Food in Restaurant excellent quality from Homemade Lasagne, Pizza to Sole Meuniere and lots more. 15 minute walk into La Cala town where there's plenty of Restaurants and Bars, but if you want to relax, then a day on the beach followed by a lovely meal in La Sheriff Family run restaurant is lovely, Will definately return.
