Apartment is ideally located close to the sights and the underground carpark so not too far to carry luggage as Setenil is very hilly. Very cosy and individual accommodation built under the rock face.

The bed is too small.

It was a unique experience and we’re happy we tried it; the cave apartments are always going to be tricky for tall people though. The location is good(at the top of the town) it’s a couple of minutes walk from the underground public carpark, and the views are lovely. The parking location is perfect as it is at the entrance to the town - the streets are very narrow and packed with tourists, so you don’t really want to be driving through them!

There is no room to move around the bed so I had to crawl over my husband to go to the bathroom in the night. We arranged for a 4pm check-in and had to wait outside the apartment for 30 minutes before the lady arrived - not even an apology!

Pre arrival information was very good Meet and greet check in by the host was excellent - she's very friendly and helpful! 🙂 Cave is well located. The bed was really comfortable with good quality bedding. The cave had a nice homely feel and was well equipped.

We would have liked a small heater in the lounge for the evening as it was just slightly chilly. Clothes hanging space is a bit too small.

wonderful accommodation built into the mountainside and the hosts could not be more helpful. The village itself has just enough bars and restaurants but be prepared for the inclines. The other thing to be aware of is the early morning cockerels who crow early and for a long time and they in turn set off the donkeys who in turn set off all the dogs barking...no need for an alarm clock.

the bars shut in the afternoon so you have to use the hotels or if you're lucky to find a back street shop open you can get a bottle of beer.
