Casa la Cabra

Very lovely apartment with everything you need after a long day of hiking in a cute town. Very nice and helpful owners, we felt very comfortable here. Would definitely recommend staying here:)

Spacious, clean, has everything you need, extremely comfortable beds, delightful shower, nice kitchen, welcome beers, and super helpful host!

Everything was great! No complaints! One idea: it might be helpful for pilgrims/walkers if the owners offered some basic items for sale if/when the local bars and shops are closed?

Absolutely loved our 9 day (8 night) stay with Sarah and Steve. From our initial booking to our departure they were fantastic hosts. The apartment was everything we needed it to be and the welcome bottle of wine and lit fire was very much appreciated after a long day travelling. Steve and Sarah live in the main house, upstairs, and are on hand to help when/if needed. The apartment had everything we needed in the kitchen with extras such as coffee, sugar, oil etc. The offer of fresh towels and bedding mid stay was also appreciated (although not needed). Casa La Cabra is brilliantly situated for many hikes in the nearby area and Sierra Nevada. Steve was also very helpful in recommending routes etc. Nearby Puerto Lope has 2 ATMs and a well stocked Coviran supermarket and garage for fuel. All very handy and convenient. For us it was ideal for being in a typical village and away from the city hustle and bustle.

Casa la Cabre was located in a newer development in the town of Moclin just of the Camino Mozorabe, brilliant for when you have just walked 2.7km uphill! Met Steve at the property and was shown round...this place is amazing (we have a vlog that includes a quick tour of the property: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_FWJOFBQs53u-846958UNQ?sub_confirmation=1) and came with a terrace area to rest those tired feet as well as a kitchen area. Make sure that you head into the cafe/bar just up the road and definitely make the walk to the Church up the top just below the fort, amazing views at sunset! Thank you Steve, everything that I needed and more....

There was nothing that I did not like. The hosts did an amazing job and the property certainly lived up to standards expected. Book it and enjoy your stay!

I absolutely loved everything; cosy apartment, friendly owners, beautiful village, spectacular nature. Special thanks to the owners for the wine and for having the place heated by the time we arrived! Very much appreciated!

Location, cleanliness, nice living room.

Owner was really quirky with smoking, even in exterior spaces. I mean, my girlfriend smokes vape tobacoo and he didn't even allow to smoke on the outside of the house. Weird.

The only bar in town was closed. But the hosts helped us out of the trouble. We ver very very thanful.

Very nice touches to the apartment to make it feel like home.

We had a really lovely and comfortable stay at Casa la Cabra. We were met by Steve on arrival who was really friendly and welcoming, and the apartment itself was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was really well equipped, complete with necessities such as coffee, salt/pepper, olive oil, and even a complimentary bottle of wine!
