On the hill between natural beach on the west and town and other beaches on the west. Clean spacious apartment. Great walk over the top of the hill to the lighthouse.

Ground floor does not get the views but still same location.

I loved the position on the top of a hill overlooking the sea and the town- and close to Mar de Fora beach. Amazing panoramic sea views from the bedroom windows. The apartment was very clean, modern, spacious and light. If you don’t want to stay in centre of town, this is a good option. Ten minutes walk (up a hill) from a supermarket, shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend walking the path behind the apartment to the lighthouse (don’t take the official one- the alternative track is far more impressive)

As other people have said, the water pressure in the shower when on a warm setting was very weak. Strange as it’s fine from the taps and when on a cold setting. It made it very difficult to wash sand off. I didn’t even attempt to wash my long hair. Sheets and pillowcases on beds would have been nice. A bit more kitchen equipment, e.g. a cheese grater, pan lids, a kettle, and some store cupboard basics such as salt, pepper, oil and vinegar would have been good. Salt is so cheap! I ended up having to buy a massive packet of it.

Great view out of the bedrooms!!!! Quiet, clean, comfortable. Recommended!

It was perched on the top of the hill that had amazing views. It was very accommodating for our group and was exactly what we needed.

Unlike all other apartments that I've rented on booking.com this is the first that did not have sheets on the bed. Instead, the beds made when we arrived but, before we could go to sleep we had to unmake the bed and add the sheets. And due to the language barrier in the fact that I do not speak Spanish, and digital translators do not always translate accurately. There was some tension when I made a request that if possible to check in early we would like to do so. Understanding that if that was not possible we would understand and check in at the scheduled time. In the end always resolved and we had a wonderful time.
