Apartaments Bastion

It's the third time we've stayed here, the location is perfect for us, montemar alto train station is close by. The apartment is spacious with a lovely terrace and shared pool. Comfortable beds and good shower.

Location, perfect for couple, comfortable, WiFi, coffee machine, functional, fridge, microwave, cattle, induction plates, access to the swimming pool, big tarrace, short distance to the local market shops like 5min, nd carrefour like 15ish min walk, short distance to the beach 5min walk. Short distance to the local attractions like Crocodile park, aqua park etc.. buss stop down the stairs 2min walk.

There is ants appearing outside nd inside specialy in the kitchen area.Some action is demanded. There is no dishwasher, all the dishes need to be done by hands which takes unnecessary time

Location was good. Apartment very clean and next to pool with an excellent outdoor area to sit.

The fan in Living room very noisy and the pool wasn’t as clean as expected (however this is not down to the landlord of the apartment). No seating at the actual pool area.

Bus stop at the bottom of the steps with frequent busses in each direction. Terrace is pleasant and has a gate directly to the pool (thought the gate is not as pictured, a cheap trellis has been attached to it, perhaps in an attempt to try and keep stray cats off the terrace furniture… it hasn’t worked). Aldi only a 10 minute walk away.

Ice box in fridge was not working when we arrived as it was really badly in need to de-frosting. Called the owner who came up to inspect and advised she could get the cleaner to do it on Wednesday (halfway through our holiday) which to me was unacceptable, we paid for self catering for a reason. To her credit she the defrosted it herself, but the fact it was left in that state to begin with raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness of the place. We also had cockroaches in the apart ment daily. Despite keeping the place clean, tidy and crumb free. Lights in corridor leading to apartment do not work, bit risky/scary returning home after dark to this. There are no sun loungers or seats by the pool despite the area being large enough to accommodate these. Could not get the dated TV’s to work. Very little information given about the property. For example no instruction as to where to dispose of trash bags!

It's the second time we've stayed here, it's a great location within walking distance to explore torremolinos/benalmadena and all in-between. Very quiet area with a lovely terrace and shared pool. Plenty of space inside and very comfortable. The train station is only a short walk away making it a very cheap, quick and easy transfer to and from the airport. It was also very easy to connect with our hosts who were able to let us check in early and check out later.

Great Location and large appartment

Great outside space but not very private. Kitchen needs some additional equipment
