Charming Spacious Albayzin Apartment

The communication with the host was very easy and when I arrived, he gave me a great introduction to the history of the city, the places to see and where to have tapas. All those tips were extremely useful. The flat was also very charming and functional. They changed the furniture since they took the pictures and the flat looks much better now. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a brand new shower in the bathroom. The location is convenient as well, and I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, where there are many breathtaking viewpoints on the Alhambra.

The property is right at the level of the street and the sound isolation is rather poor. Granted, those old windows are very lovely, but I could hear people coming and going until late at night, even when they talked at normal levels. It's even worse if they roll their suitcases on the cobbled stones. I recommend earplugs!

There is a lovely patio just before entering the apartment, reflecting a part of the city's history. The apartment itself is nice with beautiful wooden doors. Nacho is welcoming, gives precious information about the city and makes sure you have everything you need.

The location is great. The house is located in the center of Granada. The apartment has all the amenities. I especially liked the attitude of the owner Nacho towards us. Always ready to help with anything.

There's no such thing

The place had everything inside that you could need, just as advertised.

It's EXTREMELY noisy, you can hear noise ALL day and night coming from the outside front and side windows. It's so severe, it almost feels like there's a microphone outside amplifying the sounds that come right into your apartment. Also the hike to get up to the place it's tough. You're already coming back tired from multiple excursions etc, but now you also have to hike up a steep pathway to get to your place. Don't recommend for ppl with walking or breathing issues of any kind.

Cozy apartment nicely located in a city center. You have all you need and more in the house, everything is well arranged and makes you feel like home :)

The location of this great little apartment was amazing - we were able to see the Easter processions from our window! Our host Nachos was very welcoming and informative.

got a bit cold in the middle of the day. we couldn’t control the heat and it was on for only a few hours.

Location, space and welcoming and helpful host. There is a separate good sized bedroom with lots of space (we put a blanket over the courtyard window to make it darker). Having a washing machine was useful and clothes dried quickly indoors. There’s a lovely communal courtyard but not for sitting out on. The style of property is designed to be dark to keep it cool. Windows can be opened and are covered with bars for security. Loved it here. Great location for everything.

It’s on the ground floor with windows onto the street in a shared building so inevitably there is noise from other residents and passers-by - this can be quite loud in the middle of the night but you’re in the middle of a residential/tourist area so lots of people around is expected.
