Loved the location. Very clean. Shame no outside furniture on patio. We'll supplied for cooking. Beds comfy. Quick answers to queries.

There are some extensive roadworks outside that look like they have been going on for weeks. There is no extraction fan in bathroom and difficult to open downside bedroom window.

The location of the property was really good. The apartment was comfortable and had all we needed. The pool area was good.

When we arrived at Fuerteventura airport we had to go collect our keys from a key safe which said was located as you turned left from the arrivals. we spent some time actually locating the office as it was actually outside the airport building. We had been given a code to open the key safe prior to departure from UK. We tried this but it said that the code was invalid. After hanging around and trying to get help from the people in the office we were at, we did eventually speak to someone who said the previous occupant was on the way to the airport to return the key. When we spoke to the lady bringing back the key they had actually turned up early to the airport as they were not due to fly out until 3 hours plus after they got there. We spent approximately 1 hour sorting the key out which is not ideal when it’s the start of your holiday. I believe it would be beneficial to have two key safes at the airport - one set of keys for the people arriving and a key safe for the people to return their keys to. I know it’s a 3pm check in and 11am check out from the apartment which is stated but the system in place at the moment is not ideal as obviously people are arriving at the airport at all different times. We would not want to be waiting around to pick up a key which I would think is the same for everyone. People aren’t going to take two trips to the airport to return a key when checking out at 11am if they’re not flying until later. The apartment overall was good - it could do with a bit of updating, brightening up the decor.

Only having one set of keys was a massive inconvenience as we were a party of three and we always had to do things together so if someone wanted an early night we all had to go home. The property wasn’t particularly clean in the downstairs bedroom it had cobwebs and spiders and the floors were very dusty we also couldn’t understand how we got cockroaches in the downstairs bathroom. Some things didn’t work in the apartment like the fan in the lounge also the balcony light so was very dark if you wanted to sit on the balcony. The tv is all in Spanish with a box that has other channels but you need passwords to log in to watch it and there’s no welcome pack with any information for this or explaining how to dispose of rubbish or what all the keys are for just simple things not explained but you get an email saying you need to empty all bins before you leave so we had to ask neighbours where we had to take the rubbish. Sometimes the lights on the street didn’t work and was very dark to get home my partner went out on our second night about 10pm to get something to eat and got mugged and beaten up in the same road and the next day was totally wasted trying to report it. In all honesty we love Fuertaventura and will return but not to this apartment.
