Apartamento frente al mar (Avda costa Blanca)

La ubicación es excelente, está muy cerca de la playa y muy céntrico. Es un apartamento muy acogedor y con muy buenas vistas. Desde el apartamento se ve el mar. El dueño estuvo muy pendiente de todo, es muy agradable.

Great apartment, only 5 minutes walk to the beach. It's equipped with everything you might need for your stay, you can use even the beach umbrellas, and chairs. We had perfect communication with the owner, who was really responsive and helpful, and waited for us despite our delayed night flight. We are really thankful for everything. It was one of our smoothest experiences on booking.com. There is a supermarket only 6 minutes walk from the apartment and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The tram and bus stations are also really close. We used the pool behind the building. Wonderful choice.

Nice clean apartment with the beautiful view of the sea. You will find everything you need for the good beach vacation inside. Host is very warm and provides a lot of tips of where to go and which restaurants to visit. Very good!

Proximity to the beach was good and as described in the listing. The host was very nice and checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay. Having the Tram stop 2 mins away was great and turned out to be a lifesaver!

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable (very hard) - I spent most nights sleeping on the couch as that was more comfortable. I did convey this to the host after our first night but I was informed that it was a new mattress and was chosen to pacify previous guests who complained that the last one was "too soft"; i.e. there was nothing he could or would do. The apartment is really a studio apartment as there's just a plastic room divider that you have to pull across to separate it from the 'living area'. The second bedroom is incredibly small - it's a little annex on the balcony and fits one small single bed and nothing else. There is too much furniture in what is a very small apartment that is not doing anything; e.g. there's a dining table but no chairs!? There's also a large kitchen cabinet/dresser in the main living area that is doing nothing other than take up space. The TV is on a trolley that you need to roll in and out of it's place in the corner if you want to watch it and, the kitchen is the smallest I've ever been in - it doesn't even have space for a drawer for utensils like knives and forks (btw, they are in a drawer in the big dresser in the main living space). The photos in the Booking.com listing are accurate but they have been taken at such angles that don't give you a real sense of the size of the place - whoever took the photos did an excellent job on behalf of the owners but we thought we were in the wrong apartment when we first arrived. Finally, it's not worth anything like the money we paid for the apartment. I expected much more for what we paid, especially during the 'off season' when there was little or nothing open in the area - we had to travel into Alicante twice a day. Not the hosts fault that there wasn't much open, but I think the price should reflect that October is out of season for the area.

Excellent location only 300yds from the beach, plenty of restaurant's nearby and shops, tram stop just round the corner easy to explore the region, the host met us at the property and was very friendly and helpful, sent me links for good restaurant's and attractions to visit, appartement was spotless and well equipped and the bonus of having a good washing machine so had no laundry to do when we arrived home, will visit again, really enjoyable holiday.
