Haizean apartment by People Rentals

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and spacious apartment with high ceilings and comfortable furnishing. Located a short walk to the beach inside old town so bars and pintxos are right on your doorstep! Pleasantly surprised by the amazing temp and pressure from the seemingly retro looking shower too. Equipped with lots of cutlery and a couple fans which were useful ! We also received 2 sets of keys so between the 3 of us this plenty.

If you are sensitive to noise, maybe not for you. The apartment is on 1st floor and in central location, close to a theatre too so you hear a lot of outside noise from the street from ppl leaving, especially on Friday night even past 1am and also early morning from around 7am. I was personally okay with this but my dad who is older found it difficult to get to sleep at times. Also, maybe I didn’t look hard enough but couldn’t find a hairdryer which would have been useful

The location was brilliant! Very central and easy to walk everywhere. The apartment was spacious and a great layout for a family holiday.

The property wasn’t well maintained and quite a few things were broken including the toilet seat which was very unstable to sit on. The ensuite bathroom was very musty and smelled like mould so we avoided using it to be safe. No bin bags, detergent, sponges provided for our short stay (even though it says “fully equipped kitchen”). I did ask our host about bin bags and was told there should have been some but sorry there weren’t. No offer to bring any to us. I did send a message to the property managers during our stay about our concerns but never received a reply. Not the fault of the apartment owners but beware of mosquitoes! We didn’t expect them and got bitten terribly while sleeping.

Beautiful Spanish style spaces. Big, sunlit & open. Unbeatable location just tucked away from the bustling streets in a little square so mostly quiet. Fresh airy space that stayed cool with stunning windows. Couldn’t recommend more. Host was also so generous with flexible check outs as we had a lot of bags in the rain.

Would only suggest 1 more fan so each room can have better airflow at night.

Personalized service was amazing. We had enough space for 4 adults and two small children. The location was fab. It is at the top of busiest areas but without the noise. It was accessible with a stroller even with a little step at the front door. Great value. Less like a hotel than an airbnb.

I think the washing machine was moldy. We tried to wash our clothes but they were extremely smelly for days afterwards even after repeat washes. I wish there were more fans, beach supplies, games and kids toys but these were not promised. It was clean but could have been even cleaner. I would love a bigger bed. The shower doors were challenging. Small elevator.

Our contact was extremely helpful. We were travelling with a baby and seniors and asked if we could meet at the flat for keys and our contact was happy to help. Even helped with our luggage! The flat was super spacious and the beds were big and comfortable. There were shutters foe the windows to darken. Most everything needed was there. The location can't be beat. It's in a quiet square so it's quiet even on the weekends. Being an old old building the floorboards were super creaky but I guess adds to the charm?

Would be helpful to have instruction manuals for the appliances as they were extremely old. They probably could use a good cleaning too as the washer door is full of black gunk/mold. No detergents are provided so will have to get your own but lots of shower soap was provided. The shower heads were at an awkward place and so showers were a bit awkward but manageable. Couldn't figure out how to work the towel warmers and didn't ask.

Lovely big light apartment. Lots of space and nicely decorated. Great facilities in the flat. They seemed to have everything you would need. Excellent location for the old town, also the shopping area and easy access to beaches. Definitely a great place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

Nothing, it was all good. In terms of equipment it would be great if it has a couple of drying up cloths and a washing up sponge.
