El Zaquizamí

Es un apartamento super bonito, en el centro de Cuenca, en una calle peatonal muy céntrica.

The apartment is light and airy and spacious although the bedroom is a little cramped and the sloping ceilings are quite low. It is also close to shops and restaurants and within easy walking distance of the old town. The balcony was handy for stringing up a clothes line and the kitchen is very well equipped.

Noise from the street was quite loud at times during the night with revellers singing and yelling. There was a strong foul odour coming from the bathroom plumbing and the skylight in the loungeroom leaked when it rained.

La situación, limpieza, nivel de detalle. Los colchones son muy cómodos y la cocina bastante completa.

Por poner algo, no hay ascensor.

The apartment is very nice, cute and charming! With everything you need for a stay. We were thankful for a thoughtful breakfast items that were waiting in the kitchen. The kids loved their room and the ladder that leads upstairs. The host provided the crib for our baby.

Check in It was a problem to get into the apartment. We arrived at 6pm, were provided with 2 phone numbers. We called several times but nobody answered. We were waiting outside for about 20-30 mins with 2 kids and a baby. My husband asked people staying at the second floor to open the door to the building for us. Luckily they were at their balcony. Noise level It was a holiday in Spain, so lots of people outside. We all were waking up at night due to noise from the bars nearby. Temperature We also had problem with heating the apartment. It was warm when we arrived but the gas fireplace went off on our first day, and it was hard to make it work. My husband spent a couple hours reading manuals and make it work. Unsuccessfully. The host did respond to our questions but the problem wasn’t solved.

The flat has all the amenities needed. The host is super friendly making us feel at home.
