The apartment has a wonderful terrace and view at the see. It is very cosy.

The apartment can be cleaned better, for example the shower. Also, there is a huge amount of mosquitoes.

Very good location 3 minutes from bus station & supermarket. Very private, we saw nobody. Had most things we needed.

We stayed here 5 years ago & it’s now looking very shabby, it needs some care . No kettle , dirty dish cloth . Many stairs to reach apartment.

The apartment is well located and has good views of the sea and river from the terrace. I know that there are many stairs to climb and doors to access, but I knew that before we came  and it helps with the views.

In many respects this should and could be a high rating. However, there are far too many things that need attention to be able to give a high score. Many of the things that I comment on have been mentioned by others in earlier reviews. It appears the owner is reluctant to accept negative feedback and, I assume,  does not want to act on it and make the experience better for those that rent the apartment. Many parts of the apartment were dirty eg floors, crockery, glassware, surfaces for cooking and eating. Stained and dirty bed linen and pillows.  If it had been cleaned it was not well done and the owner needs to address this. Other maintenence problems need addressing. The terrace awning is old and broken. It makes a terrible noise on a windy night. The town is known for the wind. The side cover does not come down and needs a big overhaul. Not all light bulbs work including the main terrace one. Blinds need attention to work better. Many don't function without effort. The crockery and cooking utensils are well past their best. Chipped plates and old saucepans. The bottle opener doesn't work. We booked for 6 nights. We had one towel each. One toilet roll. A very small amount of hand wash. Very little dish washing liquid and a used scourer and dish wash cloth. Although there is a washing machine no liquid was provided. For those visitors that are not local we dont travel with these things and do not expect to have to buy them for our stay. Think of us as guests not just renters. We did contact the owner and she provided shampoo, body wash, cleaning fluid and dishwasing liquid. We didn't ask for the first two as it was already there. On cleaning fluid she seemed bemused we would ask for this but obviously she hasn't seen how dirty things were. The items listed were left at our door and we never saw the owner although she replied by WhatsApp. It was mentioned she would meet us on arrival but she didn't.

Easy walking distance to bus terminal and Aldi, not far from the beach or city centre.

Some badly chipped crockery which needs to be replaced. No instructions how to work anything. The air conditioning unit has no out filter so gives out cool air and the other end hot air? Electricity plugs buzz when charging
