Playa Honda is a lovely place to stay.

Hol apartment review Although this apartment advertises as being on the beach, it isn’t, you cannot even see the sea. It is about a 7/8 minute walk away- there is also no airport pick up which is advertised. There was no hot water in the kitchen sink but there was in the shower and bathroom. There is no information or help or instruction leaflets ie what to do if the electricity shuts off or no water getting through taxis etc . It is vital to have a telephone number and WhatsApp as a contact, as emails do not seem to get through. We had to phone booking.com for reassurance that we would have some where to stay, because we had been promised a gate code number but it didn’t come. Just, ‘don’t worry we will send it later’ replies. We did not get the code until we had landed and rang the contact for it. It was sent via WhatsApp while we were on route in the taxi. We only saw someone on departure all problems were dealt with via WhatsApp. The apartment is fine. Very clean. There is no kettle or microwave but a great induction hob. The bed is large and comfy. Which made the stay comfortable.

Everything - Absolutely everything!!! Starting from the bathroom, clean, room (great mattress) ,location , price ,kitchen with everything you might need... Great Very surprised and for sure a place to be back asap

Location good, close to the airport what was important for me.

Information from host in Spanish only, it was probably the reason he did not answer my call, sms and WhatsApp messages, we asked to arrange taxi to the airport in advance, unfortunately no help. Wifi did not work, no electric kettle, coffee machine.

Excellent location as I was travelling on my own to get back into my diving.

Wish there had been a washing machine but not an issue if you are only there for 3 nights for example but you can easily rinse items out

the kitchen and the bathroom were just very pretty

i love Playa Honda as best location in Lanzarote further well connected by bus and Deiland shopping just 200mtrs away. Quiet, well equipped, super comfortable bed, big fridge, fabulous bathroom

nothing! btw wonderful to walk or run there, to Arrecife or also Puerto del Carmen all along the sea as well for safe cycling
