Costa Adeje Luxury Mango

Well equipped apartment on a great, secure complex with a heated pool (bonus). There's a friendly bar on the doorstep (Tiggys) plus a couple of restaurants and a few supermarkets nearby, too. Some really nice touches from Carmen & Jose, the owners, including welcome drinks, plenty of shower gel & shampoo, washing up liquid, etc, which were appreciated. Carmen & Jose were available to answer any questions & check in was straightforward. There was plenty of hot water for showers and/or a bath. The apartment has a lovely big balcony, which catches the sun in the afternoon & we enjoyed sitting out, watching the world go by. There are bus stops nearby which make getting out & about really easy.

There are a few things in the apartment that are showing signs of wear and could be updated however, this didn't spoil our holiday.

We loved the complex and the location of the apartment. The apartment was good value for money. We enjoyed our stay.

A walk in shower would have been nice and maybe a bigger bed

Warm welcome by hosts Carmen and José. The Mango residencial complex was built decades ago but is still well maintained. Don't expect luxury but a solid and clean accommodation, perfectly located with beaches and restaurants in walking distance. Private parking inside the premises for rental car is available on request. Comfortable (hard) mattress in bedroom and good sofa in living room. WiFi perfect.

Some road noise during the day / on terrace, no issue at night (bedroom is on rear / pool side). No ventilation in window-less bathroom. A few items were missing (scissors) or were worn (towels).

Nothing really as had all we needed - if I was to be super critical maybe up dated a bit & not a lot of kitchen equipment but we absolutely managed and had a fabulous stay

Absolutely fantastic apartment in a brilliant location. The apartment was clean and spacious with all facilities required. The pool was lovely, never overcrowded. I loved the location, it was in a nice quiet area yet close enough to the beach and livelier areas. A supermarket, pub and pizza restaurant, basically next door was an added bonus. The staff could not have been any more helpful especially with trying to help us with directions once we were on the airport bus. Checkin and checkout was very easy.

I could not fault this apartment in any way.

Clean and nicely decorated, the location is great and the swimingpool and garden are good. Good Nespresso coffee machine. Check-in was efficent and communication was prompt. The Italian resturant in the complex is highly recommended for coffee and tiramisu.

The bed is too small and way too hard, pillows also old and uncomfortable. We went out and bought some pillows to be able to sleep. Kitchen not fully kitted. No oven mittens, no table protection for hot pots, no scissors, only one kitchen towel, only one old and worn cutting board and two dull knives. All other appliances looked new and worked well. Some traffic noise from the street. Perisistent sewer smell in bathroom and apparently no ventalation in the bathroom. accomodation “Luxury” is an exaggertion. With a new larger bed, new pillows, attention to fitting the kitchen properly, replacing the bathroom piping with proper gas teaps and adding exhaust fan would make this a proper apartment.

Carmen is a very good host.The location is within 50m of a bar, shop and restuarant; its a great area.The pool is warm water and Mango site is secure, quiet and maintained very well.
