I usually prefer to stay in hotels because I like to have someone around to help me if needed and I had my concerns about arrival, but I am very happy that I decided to book this accommodation instead as it happened to be the best of all other experiences I had on the island during my trip beating the stays in 5 starts hotels. Here’s why: 1. Location - quiet and nice, with huge terrace overlooking the sea, I cannot even explain how calm and cozy it felt to be there and how many nice sunset pictures I made. The building itself is very quiet, there is a supermarket just downstairs. Also, I chose this place because it’s near to surf spots - the reason I came to Gran Canaria. 2. Coziness of the apartment - it’s not big, but very cozy, very clean and you have absolutely everything you might need (in the bathroom, in the kitchen, in the rooms). Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows - slept like a baby, you can hear the sound of the sea! 3. Privacy - in other places around I saw that even if you have a balcony, it’s tiny and neighboring other tiny balconies around so you wouldn’t be able to enjoy it much due to proximity to other people around you how can be loud, smoking or listening to music. In this apartment I had huge terrace just for myself and it was amazing. I was quite concerned about the check in process as I am not used to staying in apartments and hate to stress about finding the location but owner gave me very clear instructions and everything went very smoothly. In general all communication with the owner was good, he made sure that everything works properly (I had 1 issue on the last day, he even went to the apartment and checked it in person which was very nice of him). I plan to stay here again if I am back to Gran Canaria and totally recommend this place to others.

It’s not disliking, just general points to make based on my perception and experience: 1. I would not recommend this place for more than 2 people. It has a tiny second room for a child but in my opinion still the size of the apartment is not meant to be for a family to be completely comfortable, rather 2 people maximum. 2. Maybe it’s just my perception and of course it’s not a must have, but I lacked some kind of warmth and hospitality from my exchange with the owner. He gave me all the necessary support and was on time to answer the questions but it felt often times like he is somewhat annoyed with my questions (I really didn’t bother him much only on arrival and departure), some questions I had to repeat before he answered and some information that he requested he didn’t even followed up on later so it left me unsure was it a must to provide or not. For example he asked me to send a picture of my ID on the booking app and later I double checked with him on WhatsApp shall I send it to him and he never answered. It’s not a big deal, I underline that he gave me all the necessary details to arrive and depart and was helping with my concerns it’s just felt like I am a burden, not a guest. I still recommend this place and want to come back myself, not an issue.

Nothing . It was the worst stay ever . The property was made out to be a two bedroom when it was not . They show a sun room which has a couch and this is actually what they had dressed out as a bedroom when we arrived that my 24 yr old daughter was to sleep in . This room had a strong musty smell as it was not insulated or suitable as a bedroom at all . The roller blinds didn’t work in this room either they would not stay up . I contacted the property and all I was told is oh it’s still safe and just keep the blinds pulled . It was the same in the sitting room . The building is old and in need of repair . I didn’t sleep at all the first night as all I could hear was the rattling of blinds and I didn’t feel safe . There is also a very creepy shop as you enter the building . Two apartments either side were boarded up however there was still a lot of odd noises .

I didn’t like anything about this property and could not recommend anyone to stay there . The balcony was absolutely not like it was shown. The apartment is staged on booking. Com and not a true reflection of what it is . I have asked for even a part refund as I had to move and I was refused this . I am still trying to get some of my money back . I would hate to be a lone traveller and end up here

Beautiful location overlooking the beach. Great terrace to relax and eat. Very well kitted out kitchen with all utensils, pots, glasses, cutlery and crockery. Stayed for 9 nights and loved it. Would definitely go back.

The location is perfect right on the beach, with shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The best part of the apartment is the balcony. It is well furnished with fantastic views. We enjoyed our stay so much we've booked again for another week later in the year!

It can get quite cold in the evenings, but taking the blinds helps alot.

The contact with our host and his father was very good. They were both very friendly and helpful. Hector gave us many good tips of where to eat, etc. The very well-appointed apartment had 2 bedrooms, a living room with an open kitchen, and a wonderful terrace. Everything was tastefully done. The location was absolutely prime! I can highly recommend this place and I hope to return sometime.

It was the fivth time we went to Las Palmas /playa Canteras, and overall, we were having a very positive stay in the apartment with our little one (1.2 years old). The check-in and out was without any problems, the correspondence with the host prompt. The apartment and the bed linings were very clean, with enough towels and there were even some sand toys. The location is superb - close to the surfer and the family beach, the terrace is large and the view over the bay, especially during sun set and also during day time, is stunning. The kitchen is new and well-equipped with a dish washer and induction stove, and the washing machine was practic, too. The elevator is very convenient with the baby stroller. The adult sleeping room is small, but the bed is quite comfortable.

The children room, however, is more a kind of advanced "winter garden" and not really a "proper" room. It can be quite loud and chilly during night time (in November) as there is no thermal/noise insulation, especially when it rains and when it's windy (this happens of course mostly in the winter season). Surely, most of the buildings in Canteras' "front row" are from the 80s (and older) and even a principally refurbished apartment like this is exposed to the salty moisture - and this shows off a bit... Consequently and overall, we would recommend this apartment, but for the use by two persons only.

Beautiful view of the sea from the patio area with outdoor seating, well equipped comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Location was perfect.
