Moderno y funcional apartamento en el centro-El rastro

Great. Small but perfect for a couple! Super clean and had everything you needed except a cork screw which I purchased and gifted to the apartment lol. Ideal for visiting El Rastro market which is right at the bottom of the street. Love Lavapiés - so vibrant and good base to enjoy the city! Host was great also.

A bit noisy as lots of other apartments but it did not spoil our stay

Everything was great, the place is nice and clean, near the center of Madrid, and close to a lot of small lovely restaurants.

Good apartment with everything you need for comfort stay. The location is perfect - close to city center and grocery shops.

The location, the studio is really clean

The location was good.

The shower did not drain properly, so we had to turn off the water mid-shower to prevent the floor from flooding. The space was very cramped for two people; referring to the crawl space/closet as a second bedroom is disingenuous. my brother (who is hardly tall at 5’4/1.6 m smacked his head so hard the low overhanging ceiling and was worried he had a concussion. In addition, the patio and clothes drying area is filthy and filled with pigeon excrement and feathers. it was not such a pleasant place to linger let alone dry our clothes. In spite of all the modern gadgetry in this minuscule studio, the price is simply not worth having to endure all the aforementioned discomforts. I also didn’t appreciate that we had to complete the whole check-in process on our own accord and submit our documents digitally, which struck me as invasive and was an annoyance while traveling to Madrid. This another classic example of a host offloading all the work and effort onto the guest for the sake of “convenience” and no contact. This check-in style should be an option but not required. Otherwise, what are we paying you 100 euros a night for? Lastly, I’m going to go ahead and assume this host will reply with a defensive response, in which they’ll likely leave some flippant, presumptuous comment instead of taking accountability and addressing the issues that I and other guests have brought up. Just know, Israel, that to continue to be so defensive instead of showing sympathy and understanding is a pretty terrible look overall. Totally not worth the price and would not recommend at all! Israel, por que no demuestras un poco de empatía y corriges estos varios asuntos mencionados (por muchos huéspedes, claro) en vez de atacar a las personas que te pagan sin recibir ningún servicio recomendable. Esa supuesta “segunda habitación” es un pequeño almacén/armario y no adecuada ni para un enano.
