Apartamentos Flor del Cotillo

The apartment was just what I needed: great value, with a really well equipped kitchen so I could cook proper meals, amazing location a few minutes from the beach and everything was really easy. Also the shared roof terrace is really nice - the pictures don't do it justice

This has been the third year in a row that I have returned to this apartment. Ivan and Raul are attentive hosts, and the apartment is well-located with the essential amenities. The rooftop area is a lovely place for an evening drink, and the balcony is great for somewhere to read in the shade.

The apartments are basic, but that is what I would expect at this price point.

The apartment was perfect for us and the rooftop terrace was magical for the sunsets. I cooked a romantic meal which we had up there and it was so lovely. We have been to El Cotillo many times, but we have now found the perfect place to which we will continue to return to. Already booked for next January! There are lots of restaurants within close walking distance and 3 supermarkets also close by. There is a washing machine and lots of drying space too which was great. And we were allowed to stay in the apartment til later in the day due to a late departure flight. Now, I have saved the best til last. The apartment owner, Raul, is second to none with his customer service and as I work in customer service, I know what to expect. When we arrived at the apartments late at night, my husband had left his rucksack with various valuables in the taxi that had taken us there. Raul had contacted us to check whether we had got into the apartment ok. When I explained what had happened, he rang the taxi firm for us and the bag was taken to the airport. The next day Raul asked his brother to pick up the bag for us, which he did, and he would not take any money from us for doing so, which we would have been happy to pay. It is safe to say that had Raul and his brother not helped and shown kindness in the way they did, our holiday could have been really spoilt. We also met Raul's mum, who was also a lovely lady. This family restored my faith in people as there is so much unkindness in the world, so it was refreshing to find there are some wonderful people still out there. Looking forward to our next stay there.

Perfect location, great apartment to stay in Cotillo and very close to the beach. Raúl was a very friendly and helpful host, always willing to offer the best service and facilities during my stay. Very nice rooftop terrace to relax in the evening. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Fuerteventura!
