Staff was so friendly and helpful. Location was amazing. Quite a large and spacious room.

Strange shower location, a glass cubicle, right beside the bed, with only a shower curtain, water splashed out easily. This was fine and you expect these little quirks in central places like this. However we had some issues with the plumbing overflowing in the shower on both days and a lot of muck coming up and surrounding our feet on day one. Staff were quick to fix it but it didn’t stop the blockage. One major issue for me in this property (easily resolved), was the pillows, they had the worst smell. Like a cigarette ashtray and moth balls. I was actually quite disturbing. New pillows are absolutely required and more of them. Please don’t be put off by this, these are easy fixes and otherwise we loved our stay there. It’s basic decor, and quite rustic, but a great choice for a few nights in the centre.
