wonderful apartment with large balcony and great views of the mountains. loved the nice old furniture, the original tiled flooring, and the very new bathroom. The village of Beceite is very charming and full of twisty-turny medieval streets. We found free parking half a block away without problems. We LOVED the Parrazal hike along the river. Fantastic! walkways over the river, and through a narrow canyon. Loads of fantastic views. If you intend to do the hike, be sure to reserve tix for parking. It is a very popular place, but never felt too crowded. We also highly recommend checking out the castle in Valderrobres, a 15 minute drive away.

the washing machine didn’t work. it got just some of the clothes wet, but never spun. It would have been nice to know that the machine did not work properly before trying to wash our clothes. Know before you go: there is a stovetop espresso coffee maker there, but no coffee provided or any other food (salt, pepper, oil). We opted instead to get coffee in the morning at a bar a few minutes away. Otherwise, the kitchen was small, but had what you needed to cook. There is a bakery and a small grocery in the town of Beceite, or you can stock up in Valderrobres.

The house is clean and warm (we went in February), and the apartments are spacious and comfortable. We found everything we needed. The host is very nice and helpful.

met by a very nice and helpful young man who welcomed us to the property. The apartment was very spacious traditional Spanish decor very comfortable with everything you need especially excellent air conditioning.. lovely balcony with a gorgeous view spotlessly clean.

in the master bedroom the bed has a solid wood base which is not comfortable for guests who are tall.

Very spacious and clean studio flat. modern functional bathroom. lovely renovation of a very old building in the older part of town. Gorgeous views from balcony. central to everything in Beceite.

lack of available parking near to apartment, especially during festival weeks. Be prepared to go shopping for basics - little provided. not all staff speak English.
